Closing the Pair Research Station will hurt the Hayesville economy. The Research Center has five full-time employees and a number of student summer employees. The center must be kept open as once it is closed, it will never be reopened. #ksleg

Budget cuts to higher #ksed are causing the John C. Pair Horticulture Center in #Haysville to close. That will be a major loss to specialty crop development, especially for Western Kansas. #SaveThePair #KsLeg
