@NotFarLeftAtAll Visual impairment comes in lots of different forms. This person may be using the cane as they have no peripheral vision, but have enough Central acuity to read a phone. Like people with RP. Not everyone who has a cane has zero sight.

@RandomTheGuy_ @TheFigen_ Years ago I was on the front row of the Alton Towers version of this and the ride got stuck in the drop position for nearly an hour. At one point they thought we'd have climb off and get the steps down. Luckily they got it working. Didn't go on it again after that.
