BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV declares holy war on Donald Trump's hateful policies as he urges his American bishops to speak out forcefully against the MAGA leader's immigration crackdowns.

This feud just went nuclear....

“Our Holy Father is very personally concerned about these matters. He expressed his desire that the U.S. Bishops’ Conference would speak strongly on this issue," El Paso Bishop Mark Seitz told Reuters. "It means a lot to all of us to know of his personal desire that we continue to speak out."

Leo spoke to a delegation of bishops and social workers from the U.S.-Mexico border who were visiting the Vatican and directed them to "speak strongly" in defense of the migrants and refugees being victimized by the Trump administration.

The Daily Beast reports that Bishop Seitz, who was at the historic meeting, confided that Leo was "visibly moved after being handed dozens of letters from immigrants describing their fears of arrest and separation under the administration’s enforcement policies."

One such letter was shared with Reuters and was sent by a family that is terrified of being deported by Trump's goons—

“I believe the Pope should speak out openly against the raids and the unfair treatment the community is experiencing,” the note read in Spanish.

Additionally, Pope Leo met with 100 American Catholic who are ministering to migrants and thanked them for their work, sending a clear message to the larger Catholic Church about what his priorities are.

Leo has been ramping up his pro-migrant rhetoric in recent months despite a growing MAGA backlash against his papacy. Over the weekend, he stated that migrants cannot be treated with "the coldness of indifference or the stigma of discrimination."

"In the communities of ancient Christian tradition, such as those of the West, the presence of many brothers and sisters from the world's South should be welcomed as an opportunity, through an exchange that renews the face of the Church," he added.

Last week, he voiced an equally pro-migrant message.

"Someone who says that, ‘I’m against abortion but I’m in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants who are in the United States,’ I don’t know if that’s pro-life," asserted Leo.

Republicans are predictably up in arms over the pope's pro-migrant messaging. These MAGA brutes love to call themselves Christians but erupt in anger when they're confronted with the true teachings of Jesus Christ. They want the self-righteousness that comes with the label "Christian" without assuming any of the moral responsibility, compassion, or kindness.

Texas Democrats haven’t broken a single law, so there’s zero grounds to arrest them, let alone prosecute. Abbott clearly doesn’t even know his own state’s constitution.

Quorum-breaking is a political move, not a crime. Sure, the House can fine them or dock their pay, but it’s a constitutional tool, protected and legit.

Even the Texas Supreme Court said it in 2021: the state constitution allows quorum-breaking as a tactic for the minority, even if it shuts the place down.
