This is our land. This is our state. We cannot leave it in the hands of criminals. Give us credible information. Do not harbour criminals, and do not provide them with logistics or support.
I am not afraid of any criminal or their sponsors. They will come, and we will deal with them.
Enough is enough.
We are not going to play politics with the lives of our people. I am ready to protect you all.”

“To bandits, kidnappers, and sponsors of terror, Surrender now or face the full force of the Nigerian state. This window of surrender will not remain open forever, no mercy will be shown to those who trade in the blood of Nigerians”

Fellow Nigerians
Today, we celebrate democracy and the enduring Nigerian spirit. For 27 unbroken years, since May 29, 1999, Nigerians have chosen their leaders through the ballot, witnessed peaceful transitions of power, and resolved disagreements in courtrooms and legislative chambers—not through violence. We have experienced the longest stretch of civilian rule in our history. Our democracy is not perfect, but it is ours, and we must continue to defend and strengthen it.
Criticise me, disagree with me, but never stop believing in the nation, President Bola Tinubu tells Nigerians on Democracy Day.

The National Credit Guarantee Company (NCGC), launched under President Tinubu's administration to improve access to finance for MSMEs and businesses, is expanding lending support and strengthening financial inclusion across Nigeria.
Takeaways:
- NCGC has unlocked ₦33 billion in loans for over 4,800 borrowers within months of commencing operations in 2025.
• The company has partnered with over 18 Nigerian banks through signed guarantee framework agreements.
• Over ₦33 billion in loans have been unlocked for MSMEs and businesses across 17 states.
• The initiative has helped preserve over 1,400 jobs, with another 1,500 jobs expected to be created.
• More than 75% of supported loans went to women-led businesses, while over 89% supported youth-led enterprises.
• NCGC also signed partnerships under the Presidential CNG Initiative to support vehicle conversion financing.
• The company introduced co-guarantee arrangements to support larger transactions and improve lending confidence.
This initiative is part of efforts to support President Tinubu’s vision of building a $1 trillion economy through improved access to credit and financial inclusion.
I am thankful to see that Nigeria’s House of Representatives passed this important policy that I’ve been calling for since @POTUS first asked me to investigate the genocide against Christians in Nigeria.
In fact, I raised this idea directly with Nigeria’s First Lady during her visit to Washington and have done so repeatedly with every Nigerian delegation I’ve met with.
Ensuring states can protect their own citizens is a critical step toward ending the persecution of Christians and the overall instability in the Nigeria.
President Tinubu deserves credit for supporting this legislation and urging its passage through Nigeria’s parliament, and I hope to see him continue pushing on this issue.
There’s still a ways to go before state level police forces will be in place, but this is a sign that all our hard work is paying off.
Nigeria is on track. We've seen the indices on the right path, but there are indicators and targets that the government will have to do to increase or improve the indicators. As far as the indices submitted by the United Nations to rate the good governance of the country, we are not crawling, but we are not on high speed.

I am glad that the newly constructed six-lane dual carriageway Airport Expressway to Kuje Road was commissioned yesterday.
The road project, which was awarded in February, 2022, had no contractor on-site and was completely abandoned when the current administration took office.
With the successful completion of this vital road project, the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has restored the hope lost by residents of Kuje. The new road will provide dignified connectivity between the city centre and suburbs and decongest the Abuja metropolis.
I thank Vice President Kashim Shettima, for commissioning the project on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
On Monday, next week, which will be Day 4 of the 31 Days of Projects Commissioning in the FCT, it will be commissioning of another major project by the President.
