I've never wanted anyone to look up to me in any kind of way. I'm flawed in many ways, perhaps more flawed than the average person...and by average person, I mean Bhagat Singh after he has stubbed his toe on Lego.
Seriously, there's no revolution hopping on one foot.
TIME FOR A FOUR DAY WORKING WEEK
It is time to move to a four-day working week. We should not be working excessive hours in 2026 that restrict our personal time and prevent us from enjoying life outside of work. Our entire identities do not have to revolve around our jobs. Having a work-life balance is important. We should have time for family, friendships, community involvement, education, creativity, and travel. The purpose of the economy should be to serve human wellbeing, not the other way around. A long working week contributes to stress, mental health problems, physical illness, and workplace accidents. A healthier workforce could reduce pressure on public services and improve overall social wellbeing.
A four-day working week would leave workers less mentally and physically exhausted, which would improve productivity during working hours. Employees would be less lethargic, have more time to recover, and be better able to maintain their energy levels. When workers have more time to recover from work, they will feel refreshed rather than exhausted, allowing them to concentrate better and work more efficiently. A rested worker is less likely to make mistakes or work more slowly due to tiredness, meaning that more work can be completed in less time.
The length of a working week is also a question of power. Employers have traditionally controlled how much labour is extracted from workers. A shorter working week would give workers greater autonomy and reduce their dependence on employment. More free time would allow people to participate more actively in unions, politics, and community organisations.
In conclusion, a four-day working week is a necessary step towards creating a fairer and healthier society. Reducing working hours does not mean reducing ambition or productivity; it means recognising that people are more than their jobs. By giving workers more time to rest, connect with others, and pursue their own interests, we can build an economy that values human wellbeing alongside economic success. The future of work should not be defined by longer hours, but by achieving a better balance between work, life, and freedom. Having more personal time will make employees feel valued and trusted by their employers. This will increase job satisfaction and commitment, meaning workers are more likely to put greater effort into their work and contribute positively to their organisations.
I wanted to tell you this shit right now while this tea is in me.
Of course you may choose anonymity over spending so much money on damp lettuce and tomato halves.
Yes guys, I really just did a post about salad, and still I managed to make it more interesting than crayons.
Purpose is the scar tissue we grow over the cracks so we can pretend the wound is a map......and then the train gets cancelled anyway because of leaves.
In other news, scientists confirm that the universe isn't actually expanding, it's just trying to get away from human beings.
After surviving death the rest of life seems banal in comparison. Worrying about cleaning your room or cutting down carbs isn't that exhilarating.
On top of that there's no updates about when Deadpool 4 will come out, or if 'Mosin is in hospital again' will come out first.
Despair is part of the human condition, the rest of it is mostly waiting for the next Avengers film to come out & waiting for water to boil.
It isn't something you should try to escape...embrace it, struggle through it & give it cuddles.
P.S. Despair has zero calories.
3rd place is coming home 🏴
Oh shit, wrong draft.
What the fuck is Mo talking bout?
Anyway don't pause posting bout the causes that you post bout. Your virtue signalling complex is saving you from something. I don't know what it is right now coz it's 06:19am on a Sunday.
The one who cares & loves more hurts more, but we still pine for an unparalleled love, even if it means getting your heart lacerated, your limbs amputated & your dignity discarded into a alternate timeline where tacos don't exist.
Anyway you can always send help...or mango kulfi
Having a physical injury that stops you from doing physical training/exercise is demoralising. It's misunderestimated. Your usual outlet is locked down without there even being any global pandemic. Nobody has died but it's a grieving process
On the plus side, more time with sofa
