"I see the fight against sexism, racism, poverty, and even war finding their union not in synonymity but in the ultimate goal-- a world more humane." - Ta-Nehisi Coates
#Racist rhetoric from the occupant of the @WhiteHouse has made hate our new normal. We are still vulnerable.
@RepMarkMeadows – Cherokee Guns is in your district & you and I serve on a committee together. Here’s your chance to finally do the right thing. https://t.co/IvR1eunFQt

"Yet, it astounds me that — despite the hateful rhetoric and dangerous policies that our government is churning out — somehow the promise of America still holds for so many individuals in search of a better life. This gives me hope."
I’m ready to fight for you, Allison, and the millions of people across the country who are getting crushed by student loan debt. Let’s do this together. #CancelMyDebt
Everywhere I go, I talk about how we need to make big, structural change to solve the deep, systemic problems we face as a country. Take the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: We had a plan, we got organized, and we turned it into a reality. https://t.co/o4vkreuEDn
I just sent this letter to @realDonaldTrump - who, as you heard, is the most transparent president ever.
Signed,

The following would have been reasonable headlines:
"While teaching, Elizabeth Warren worked on more than 50 legal matters"
OR
"As a nationally recognized expert on bankruptcy law, Elizabeth Warren worked on more than 50 legal matters, while teaching"
.@washingtonpost, What a disappointing headline. Making it out like @ewarren was doing something wrong for being a working lawyer. Headline makes it seem like her hourly rates are "too much," then later in the article you state (correctly) that it is was at or BELOW market rates.
Can't imagine any media outlet featuring a man's hourly rate as a "negative" thing in a headline. Because men, of course, are allowed to care about our country AND make money. Women, as usual, get questioned... for EVERYTHING.
