I think the craziest statistic in the US is that 40% of working age adults from 18-62 don't work. When you account for stay at home spouses and early retirees its 30-33%. Which means 1 in 3 working age adults in the US don't work. Now a good chunk of that is migrants and refugees but there are also 10's of millions of Americans.

The US Government knows this and they will look you dead in the eye and say we have a "Worker shortage".

Javier Milei a fait quelque chose que peu croyaient possible.

Il a pris un pays en hyperinflation (211 % en 2023), avec un État obèse, un déficit chronique et une pauvreté qui flambait, et il a sorti la tronçonneuse.

Résultat, deux ans et demi plus tard :

- Inflation annuelle tombée à 31,5 %, mensuelle autour de 2 %.
- Pauvreté : pic à 52,9 % au premier semestre 2024 → 28,2 % au second semestre 2025 (plus bas niveau depuis 2018). Indigence (pauvreté extrême) de 18 % à 6,3 %.
- Surplus budgétaire primaire atteint pour la première fois depuis des décennies.
- PIB : contraction en 2024, puis +4,4 % en 2025. La croissance repart.

Ce n’est pas magique. C’est de l’allocation de ressources. Quand l’État arrête de monétiser le déficit, de subventionner l’inefficacité et de capturer les rentes, les signaux de prix reviennent. Les gens peuvent enfin planifier, investir, travailler sans que l’inflation leur vole le salaire tous les mois.

La pauvreté n’a pas baissé parce qu’on a « donné plus ». Elle a baissé parce qu’on a arrêté de détruire la monnaie et de gonfler l’État. C’est exactement le contraire de ce que le logiciel socialiste (français comme argentin pendant 80 ans) a toujours prêché.

Les mauvaises idées ne sont pas portées par de mauvaises personnes. Elles sont juste fausses. Et elles tuent d’abord ceux qui y croient : les plus pauvres, ceux qui n’ont pas de capital pour se protéger de l’inflation.

En France on est encore coincés dans le même logiciel. 57 % de PIB public, dette, impôts, et on s’étonne que la mobilité sociale soit cassée. Un État trop gros crée forcément de la corruption, du gaspillage et des rentes. Le réduire, c’est supprimer le terrain de jeu de la corruption par ricochet.

Milei a ouvert la voie. Pas en théorie. En pratique. Avec des chiffres.

À nous maintenant.

Partage ces vrais chiffres. Parle-en. Refuse le réflexe « plus d’État = moins de pauvreté ». Agis à ton niveau : consomme, entreprends, vote, éduque, arrête de légitimer le monstre bureaucratique.

Quand la France fera le même travail – réduire les dépenses, tuer les rentes, laisser les individus respirer – on rebondira. Et ce sera vraiment kiffant, parce que chaque personne pourra enfin agir pour de vrai, sans demander la permission à un fonctionnaire.

Le 21e siècle appartient aux bâtisseurs, pas aux redistributeurs.

The number of Deca Unicorns in Cali is growing by the day as investors chase amazing startups.

A unique feature of these 10b startups is that even if they raise a billion, little, if any of that money goes to the founders, who are now worth billions of dollars over night. They are the definition of cash poor, stock rich

How are you going to tax them ? Make them borrow money against their shares, if they can? They just raised money to grow their company and a bank will come along and loan them money ? A company that has been in business maybe less than a year ? lol

Will you take their stock if they can’t ?

Do you really think each of multiple founders, who started an amazing company in Cali and is now a billionaire, can each just pull out $250m per billion of net worth from their raise ? You know they can’t.

If this passes , and it doesn’t directly impact me at all, I won’t be a cali resident, but you can bet if I’m investing in a multi billion dollar startup, I’m asking them to move from California first.

IMO, if this passes, only idiot startup founders stay in Cali.

I’ve done it before and will do it again. Dallas. Pittsburgh. Indiana. I will make NOT being in California a pre requisite for an investment
