@brettbphoto I was at the track. They were very optimistic to get the race in and even restarted sooner with the lightning hold.

With the first yellow, a few people left their seats. With the second a few more. But the 3rd downpour everyone left. It was very clear the track would be lost

I was barely 5 and I could feel the emotion and confusion when we lost Dale. This is another pin in Nascar's history for sure.
