Jake was one of the toolsiest players I saw during the Spring season. Wiry, athletic, 5'9" 175. Ran extremely well, 6.78 60yd; strong, accurate throws in the OF (81-83)

EV Avg 89 w/ a top EV of 94; flashed XBH pop. Little unconventional load of the hands, but works well for him; stays connected, lots of energy created in the hips; lets the ball get deep, finds barrels.

Nice resume in 2025: 1st Team All Northwestern Conference (3A/4A), 1st Team All Region 7. Part of a Watauga program that finished strong, winning the Northwestern Conference Tournament

Watauga Head Coach @SeanBurroughs73 will be a good reference. Blanton is a great student; strong character
