Persuasive writing motivation. Students were so engaged when they found a mysterious present in the classroom for them today. I told them they had to work really hard to come up with three reasons to persuade me to open the present. 🎁 #acuedu_p

Today I introduced 'secret student' to my year 1 class. The students loved engaging with the resource as it was a mystery. Also, it was a successful behaviour management strategy, as students were reminded that there would be no prize if they do not behave.

Differentiation within each lesson is so important! It allows all children to strive to be the best learners they can be! This week’s EDFD 462 lecture and tutorial explored this concept and widened my understanding of how to incorporate it into lessons ☺️ #acuedu_p
