We mourn the loss of Sheriff Draper. Draper has served as Sheriff of Martinsville since he was elected to the office in 93; he was the longest serving Sheriff in the Commonwealth of VA. His 5 decades of service in law enforcement are a testament to his dedication to the community

Congrats to the Graham G-Men on winning the 100th Graham-Beaver game! The G-Men made adjustments and came back after halftime to win 40-33!

Please keep the family of former Buchanan County Sheriff Ray Foster in your prayers this evening. Sheriff Foster passed away of a heart attack earlier today. He led a life of public service, and he will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.

On Saturday, I was the keynote speaker at the Montgomery County GOP’s annual Obenshain-Dalton dinner. Bert Mizusawa, who is running for Senate, was another of the featured speakers.

On Saturday, I went to Radford‘s community fest, where I talked to voters, stopped by the Republican Party booth, and got to hang out with my daughter and son-in-law. I also bumped into Patrick Moore, John Dalton Jr. and John Dalton III.

Yesterday, I went to Smith River Fest in Axton. While there, I had the chance to stop by some of the booths including the Republican Party booth to say hello and talk issues.

After serving as one of the Grand Marshalls for the Bland County Fair Parade, I ran into the Bland county GOP Chair, Keith Costello, and his wife, Jerri Harman.
