@I_Skream There was a time when you went to a club to ONLY hear new tracks, tracks you never even dreamed of, music that'd bust yer mind out (hey there 1997 Blue Note Metalheadz). This music cannot become classic rock.
@AntTC1 Once I made the move from Spotify to Bandcamp, as a music lover... Life got much better.
Fuck algorithm nonsense.
Algorithm ain't got no rhythm, ain't got no soul!
Dunno what will become of Bandcamp either but...
Spending time & money on music you love is the 🗝️
@FanuFatgyver @Bandcamp I traded Spotify for Bandcamp and life is much better.
I'd rather spend $10,20,30,60,100 pm on Bandcamp getting music I'm really into and supporting artists I love, than $10/month on Spotify where the algorithm always veers into stuff I've no idea wtf or why.
Make the switch!
@om_unit Ok, I've honestly *not* been thinking about this for days... but I believe I've found the perfect solution to the challenges of time & space for your 3x3 room.
Pipe this in:

@om_unit Make multiple different rooms, separated by red drapes, youll need to find your way thru to the room with a toilet, which is actually a very large space w a comfy couch-toilet, & statue. The Woodsman sits nearby as an attendant.

@bruces And you need to navigate through confusing dark alleys, nightclub doors, steaming kitchens, leading to false rooms, up strange stairs lined with irrelevant ads up to a modest flat just to visit the one person you want to hear from who's usually in the back room but not today
@Ziggys_Duck @vonpeepster I'd be happy to just cycle between the work of David Simon and David Lynch — realism and surrealism. It'll keep you interested for decades.
@GlobalEcoGuy Yup. Imagine rotary dial land line telephone, dialup modem and 386 desktop computing lobby groups preventing smartphones, laptops, tablets, streaming music, fast internet etc.
Same thing but with energy production.
Some people are insanely attached to their dialup modem.
@AmericanGwyn Because finding & claiming a big bag of money is a miracle, a blessing, of course! It's the obvious, acceptable choice anyone would make, the right thing to do. But helping a dieing man, especially a "bad guy"— risky, "this is a mistake".
And so, the inverted ethics of America.
@RebeccaSolnit@dwallacewells In this crisis, anger is prominent; ie "fight against" and "tackling" climate change.
Look to engage the related opportunities, benefits, celebrations and goodness that comes from building & participating in a healthy diverse world.
This transforms anger and hope into love.
@somebadideas Nothing ever dies online. Skeletal remains hang around. We can watch them fossilize. But Twitter is gone now.
After 15 time sunk years. I'm thankful to see eulogies.
BTW, X....is even more dead/deathly.
@_david_ho_ Yeah and then I think about people begging governments to stop fossil fuels and stop cutting old growth and ,.....
It's like asking psychopathic torturers to please stop torturing please
