My advice to everyone is to keep a box of ice cream sandwiches for when you’re having rough days. Not to over-indulge but it’s hard to really spiral when you’re standing there eating an ice cream sandwich. They’re too delightful.

Children really do just casually say the most profound things and then go back to coloring like nothing happened. I asked my five year old daughter if she believes in magic expecting her to say something about unicorns, instead she informed me that of course magic is real because she’s looking at me and I’m looking at her.
