@lexaloffle Maybe using peer.js or something similar. I open any game on BBS and click "invite a friend", which gives me a magic link that has my peer id to send to p2. They click the link and are instantly watching my game stream and sending p2 inputs. I could maybe prototype this...
@lexaloffle I want to make more couch multiplayer #pico8 games but they would be easier to make and more popular if we had something like Steam Remote Play Together on the bbs. Stream 128x128 video to player 2, player 2 sends inputs back. JS using webrtc or something. Thoughts?
Made a little cheat sheet for all the abilities in my new game Hex Die. I ran out of tokens to include an integrated listing of these in the actual game, but I find these kind of diagrams delightful anyways!
My new #PICO8 game is a roguelike action/tactics game (nod to MMBN). Really enjoying testing it and doing runs! Lots of different skills, fun upgrades, tough bosses. The pause-on-roll feature changes the feel a lot. You get some time to consider your moves.
