“Congratulations, you did what I never thought could be done in our State today. You brought all Oregonians together in a united front, a declaration of protest that boasted a message that we can no longer afford you in office.”
This week I testified before the @multnomahcounty Commissioners. I disagree with their idea of reducing public safety funds puts our citizens in an unsafe position, I strongly urged them to rethink defunding basic core services. #hd48#orleg#orpol#andrewmorrisonfororegon
Charging another tax on unrented commercial space would be yet another blow to business owners who are already struggling in Portland and Multnomah County.
We should be partnering with business owners to revitalize our communities — not penalizing them for vacancies caused by the very policies driving businesses away.
Thank you @andrewmorrisonfororegon for highlighting this issue on Small Business Sunday. Portland needs more common sense conversations like this.

If you want to know why we don’t have enough availability of housing for families, start here! It’s time we stop stifling the production of home building and start enabling it by getting government out of the way! 🏠🏠🏠
If you’re wondering how Oregon's legislature shifts—it’s not abstract. It comes down to three seats.
This is one of them.
I sat down with Andrew Morrison (HD 48) ⬇️
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with the Local 701 Heavy Equipment Operators Apprentices and touring the training facility. It’s skilled labor like this that is going to help bring Oregon back to an economic powerhouse! #andrewmorrisonfororegon#hd48#orleg#orpol
I understand that most are not “political people” and that is why I understand what amazing Oregonians do on an everyday basis! As an average person like yourself, here’s a little of what I’m doing when I am not campaigning. #orpol#District48#orleg#andrewmorrisonfororegon
Our team had a great time door knocking over the weekend with Ben West’s team in Damascus. Always a valuable opportunity to connect with neighbors, hear what’s on people’s minds, & talk about the issues that matter most. Grateful for the teamwork & the conversations along the way
Thank you to all who came out to the Lents neighborhood for the Adopt-a-Block cleanup today! It’s communities like this that inspire me to run for HD48 for a better Oregon!
With volunteers, I spent time door knocking near Powell Butte Park this weekend. One of the best ways to meet the community & hear directly about the issues that affect their daily lives. Grateful for conversations. See you in your neighborhood soon! @PDXReal1@soudahmedia
I’m proud to share I’ve been endorsed by ORCOPS – the Oregon Coalition of Police and Sheriffs. ORCOPS represents thousands of law enforcement professionals in our state who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. Earning their endorsement is a tremendous honor.
Thank you Lents Neighborhood Livability Association for having me out to the VFW Breakfast this morning! Your presentation of Quilts of Valor was incredibly moving. Caring for our veterans is so important to me! #andrewmorrisonfororegon#HD48#orleg#orpol
As we approach potential May referendum vote, let’s not forget the megaphone in @PDXReal1 who championed @real_eddiehl and @brucestarrfororegon’s effort that so many of all political parties championed together! VOTE NO on the largest tax increase in Oregon history! @notaxoregon
One of the best parts about running for office is getting the chance to talk with so many members of our community. Listening to people’s ideas, concerns, & hopes for the future reminds me why this work matters. Thank you to everyone who showed up for a great gathering last night
Yesterday was filing day at the Capitol, and it was great to see so many candidates and elected officials gathered together. It’s always encouraging to see people step up and get involved in the process of serving their communities. Looking forward to the work ahead.
This International Women’s Day I’d just like to take a moment to recognize how truly blessed I’ve been to be raised and spend my life with such strong, independent and resilient women.
