@Kubasun@SERobinsonJr Agriculture and solar farms can coexist. Depending on crops, the solar panels even benefit agriculture! I don't know what the plan is for this specific site, though.
@deleugyn@mattstauffer@derickr@JoePFerguson I've been wanting to do an update to https://t.co/pFZHaIMCep because it's been 10 years! In particular, CSS variables and light/dark themes are now widely supported by browsers. I started to think this direction (e.g. theme-medium.css) but never finished. Send me an email!
Please consider paying for carbon offsets. Find a certified provider you trust, or has secondary goals you care about, and subscribe. Here's my Ecologi referral link if you just want something easy:

Today is my 1 year anniversary of using Ecologi to plant trees and offset carbon. It's not expensive; I spend about $30/month. Although it's best to lower your footprint by using less energy, and cleaner energy, certified carbon offsets are still a good thing.

With Fiber in 8.1 a new age dawns for #PHP. @AsyncPHP and @ReactPHP are joining forces through @RevoltPHP collaborating on a shared event loop and Fiber abstraction. Stay tuned!
@MrDanack@seldaek @heiglandreas @Crell@krakjoe If you have a closure, there's no reason to use partials without binding any arguments e.g. `$fn(?)`.
I do agree that an arrow function is the way to do this, not by adding more to partial function application.
@philsturgeon I do understand the project is expensive, and there are probably cheaper ways to improve citizens lives, but I didn't understand the arguments being made.
@philsturgeon "They argue it will increase pollution, drive up car use and increase emissions in the midst of a climate crisis."
Presumably the cars already drive a longer distance which the tunnel will shorten? How does this increase car use and emissions?
Anyone building PHP using libmysqlclient rather than mysqlnd (the default)? If so, I'd be interested in why. Wondering how important it is to retain support for that largely unmaintained configuration.
@petdance Twice in the last month I've encountered sites that allowed only specific punctuation characters in the password. Seriously allowed only like 3-4 specific characters. Come on, people, that's more work for less security!
Thank you @AWSOpen for providing open source promo credits for another year to operate key parts of https://t.co/WIMPyEqZA2 infrastructure on #AWS for free https://t.co/dGR1Yegpra #phpc#composerphp
I'll be working on SPL related bug reports and feature request for #Hacktoberfest. Let me know which issues are important to you and I might prioritize them.
@Ecologi_hq@philsturgeon @eden_reforest @goldstandard It's levimorrison, in case it wasn't clear from sharing my profile ^_^
I don't know how to check if it's been linked up for Phil to be my referrer, though. Has it been done?
