@awesomekling I vaguely remember having to write places via physical letters to get the source for projects sent to me on a disk. I was pretty young at the time but wanted to learn to program and thought open source was fascinating.
Really want to add 1 or 2 designers who love WoW to the team working on Everlook (our tribute to Thottbot) for WoW Forever. Please reply here or DM me!
I've seen so many crazy ideas people are cooking up here recently.
Going to have to clean up my note to self message thread where I keep dropping the bookmarks.
Love seeing the creativity!
We're opening pre-orders for the 192GB Framework Desktop this Wednesday morning Pacific Time. This has AMD's new Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495, an open-end x4 PCIe slot, a pre-installed Noctua fan, and an optional pre-built config with Fedora pre-loaded.
@0xSero 1 Machine running Nvidia 4090 24GB VRAM
1 Machine Running AMD Strix Halo AI Max 385 with 32GB Unified memory.
Both systems currently running Omarchy.
Yes I have used local agents through Ollama, LM Studio, and RamaLama. Tried vLLM and could never get it running.
Thank you both. I'll have to check it out.
For a temp solution I had been using Ramalama as it seemed to auto handle a lot of the management. So I got my main desktop with a 4090 cooking down stairs with that now I need to get the FW desktop cooking too. It's a smaller one though. It's only got the 32gb unified AI max 385 so it's model capacity is smaller. Still going to be fun to mess around on.
Got the FW Desktop finally set up with plates from @Forgework_ running #Omarchy and #hermesagent going to be a fun time.
Sorta stole the idea from Forgework but can't deny its pretty sexy.
Couch gaming and AI tinkering on the roads ahead.
Insane what this little @FrameworkPuter desktop computer can do.
W/ Qwen Flash-Next GSQ-RCO you can get near frontier level intelligence on your desk for an avg of 70watts power draw with enough vram left over to do some light gaming at the same time.
Mine runs 100% on battery and solar and is the server for my swarm of Hermes agents. The future is bright for local oss models.
Reppin our custom @NousResearch tile
@BubblesOutAbout@ShangguanJiewen Not as interested in the group thing or record attempts more looking into individual stuff for me and my wife. We like what we have tried through various venues in the US but would like to try authentic.
