A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and married to an incredibly beautiful woman and helping to raise three wonderful children.
@are_jay_smith@BurgessOwens So you’re saying you’re not actually from here either? As someone who has lived here from almost half a century…we don’t want to be California!!
@dustinharding Yeah…his presentation was pretty clear that AI can be used to make life easier. We just have to not let it replace God. It has helped me organize…everything better-spiritual and temporal.
@dustinharding This is awesome! Maybe one day, one day I would live to write something with you. I’ve written several books but I’d love to write a script.
I gave in and watched the 2025 Snow White movie…what a mess. @LanaParrilla why didn’t they have you play the Evil Queen? Seems like a horribly missed opportunity, you would have outshined @rachelzegler but that wouldn’t have been a bad thing
Missionary work is soaring to new heights. We are days away from the opening of 55 new missions. This brings the total number of missions to 506. There is a total of over 87,000 full-time missionaries. And we are currently being reinforced by the first wave of 18-year-old sisters beginning their service.
In coming weeks, we will have the largest number of full-time missionaries in the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
These missionaries’ first responsibility is to testify of Jesus Christ to a world that suffers without knowledge of His divine mission. They invite people across the globe to become part of His true and living Church.
I affirm my testimony of Jesus Christ and the truth of His gospel. The Holy Ghost has given me a witness of its truthfulness, and I rejoice that I can spend my life in proclaiming it.
@ShiloPlatts The only church I have ever been to where I felt instantly judged, unwelcome, and even criticized has been the Catholic Church. Maybe we really do believe in a different Jesus…and I will keep mine thank you very much.
@Delta Since you canceled my flight, I need to be rebooked on the next available flight — including partner airlines — or I need a full refund so I can make my own arrangements.
President @OaksDallinH thanks members for their sustaining vote and continued service
Most of the Church’s 17 million members know that general conference is hosted twice each year. Saturday’s session is different than most because it begins with a solemn assembly.
Solemn assemblies only happen in the first conference after a new president and prophet of the Church has been called.
Millions of people worldwide will gather April 4–5, 2026, for the 196th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Because this year’s conference falls on Easter Sunday, many of the messages will naturally center on the heart of Easter itself — the literal Resurrection of Jesus Christ, His infinite Atonement, His triumph over death, and the hope, renewal, and peace that come through Him. Sermons from Church leaders will bear witness that because the Savior lives, individuals and families can find strength, purpose and joy in their discipleship.
Another important moment will be the solemn assembly during the Saturday morning session — an opportunity for Latter-day Saints to sustain a new Church President and First Presidency.
