Currently Sr Partnership Officer at IFAD. Formerly IFC Agribusiness Strategist all things Agri, especially for int’l development. Opinions expressed are my own.
Neglecting rural people exacerbates poverty, hunger, and forced migration - and can lead to greater instability.
We need to bolster investments that tackle the root causes of food insecurity.

I was honoured to meet @UNSGSA Queen Máxima at #Davos2024
Her Majesty is a champion of financial inclusion and a key @IFAD supporter, particularly our efforts to bring digital tools to rural areas.
I look forward to working on our shared priorities further.
My top takeaway from #Davos2024:
Private sector investments, know-how, and access to markets and technologies are essential to transform rural economies.
At @wef and beyond, @IFAD is working with agri-food businesses to ensure that small-scale farmers come first.
IFAD-funded Agriculture for Nutrition Programme tackles malnutrition and rural poverty through education and agricultural training.

@ReneeFleming .@Sabrinadhowre tells #wef23 about the overlooked role of small-scale farmers all around the world. We are here today as a voice with those who are not being heard, she says.
Very pleased to meet with @cindymccain, the new @USUNRomeAmb. The U.S. has long been a strong supporter of @IFAD and we look forward to strengthening our partnership through promoting #FoodSystems transformation, tackling the climate crisis & reducing hunger and poverty @USUNRome

Thank you #Canada for your pledge of CAD$75 million to IFAD's 12th replenishment! Your partnership is critical to our work in cross-cutting issues including women empowerment and climate change for a #ZeroHunger world.
We are so pleased to see such strong support from the United States, a historic partner of @IFAD. Thank you @USTreasury for your commitment to #investinruralpeople shown today with a pledge of $129M USD over the next three years. #IFAD12
“I think that the face of rural women needs to change. They should not be seen as people who are waiting for handouts, but as people who are already doing the work”
IFAD Goodwill Ambassador @Sabrinadhowre at the Goals House #JanuaryDialogues
We couldn’t agree more!
