@onjezani Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority is responsible for awareness on 'responsible' gambling (whatever that means). They need to up their game. Otherwise, I think many young people think life is easy and they can get K10 million on a silver platter.

Today, July 23, 2024, the Malawi judiciary admitted to the bar the first lawyers trained from the local private institution of higher learning in the country, the Catholic University of Malawi.
Constitutional court in #Malawi has dismissed an application that sought to decriminalise 'same sex sexual activities'. The court has directed the applicants to petition Parliament to make amendments to the laws.
3 High Court Judges sitting as a Constitutional Court in Blantyre are reading out their Judgement on the Constitutionality of sections 153 and 156 of #Malawi's Penal Code.
The sections criminalise same sex sexual activities.
Among others, Akstar and Gonani argue that the sections violate right to privacy, right to human dignity and are against section 20 of the Malawi Constitution that prohibits any form of discrimination.
