Who is adding Value to Ugandan timber?
Together with my team , we add value to timber by converting it into durable construction parts that will last for generations. Everything is localised.
No need to import fancy product from abroad when we have the skills and enough resources to make them here.
These homes are modular and circular, the best part about them is that you can relocate your house if you want without causing construction waste. Therefore you can sell land and take away your house.
Each house we build sustains an equivalent of a football field that is full of trees , we use only pine because of many reasons.
The homes are assembled in about 30 days , treated against tropical threats like termites, rains, these homes are insulated.
Prices range from 43 - 173 millions in 2026.
Before we started building with timber , everyone had different thoughts about it despite the existing old building stocks that were designed and built out of this Carbon negative material.
From Kisoro to Fort portal all way through Kasese we have established our footprint.
I believe in timber and I know how much potential it can make for this country. Last week President @KagutaMuseveni approved Wooden crockery and I saw it as a win for biobased industry.
Let’s stop seeing timber as firewood or stands for scaffolding but rather as a renewable resource that has the potential to change the way we live.
We had to hand over this cabin this week so that Easter finds it ready.
By the way having a deck is one of the best
things on a house, in the past, even hospitals could put beds on the deck , the reason was to enjoy the Vitamin D, today the deck is your neighbours door step, very sad 😔
Anyway, having a backup Solar systems also comes handy, its true, quality solar systems are quite costly in the beginning but you do it once and for all.
Saturdays are for checking on Project progress. This is one of the 5 to be built large timber homes in Mukono but I have a question.
Why do some people still build with bricks in 2026 really 🤔?
I passed by the site today and the finishing works are moving on well.
This 4 bedroom house is gonna be a good one, the client chose it because of the fact that it was affordable and easier to set up.
No one could have done it if not us.
If you have any questions about it please share and we shall respond as soon as possible.
Made in Kenya 🇰🇪
Kenya is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places you stay in on Earth.
I like the good attitude and positive energy of the Kenyan people and every country should pick a lesson or two from them.
Our first home in Kenya is done ✅ Second one almost in place 🏡 And 5 more homes recently sold!
Foundation works are complete, and we’re moving steadily. Grateful for the trust and excited for what’s ahead in Kenya 🇰🇪

Timber cabins and Lake Victoria.
As soon as you cross the lake, this cabin welcomes you. Today , I spent quite a great deal of time relaxing on its deck while enjoying the sounds of Lake Victoria.
A lot of ideas were flowing in my mind just by relaxing on this un finished timber cabin.
I kept on thinking how Buganda rulers in the past centuries were able to expand their territories because I couldn’t imagine if modern boats had developed by then. Anyway that was history 😁
@wekesa_amos But let me tell you, even with 2 jobs, one full time, another part time. Plus my graphics and web designing skills, and many other things I am capable of doing. I am still struggling financially 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. I think I need a podcast to tell this whole situation, kubanga 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@wekesa_amos I am one of the people who wouldn’t want to leave my country Mr. Amos. I can’t explain to you how much I have worked so hard since my S6 in 2017, all through my University journey. It’s almost 10 years since I embarked on my journey of working so hard and learning many things
In 2026, anything that can demonstrate timber is welcome.
Here is a glimpse of one of those.
You may need a timber Deck or Pergola besides your main building, you are always welcome for some ideas.
Successfully handed it over to owner.
This is the first of its kind in the whole of Kira Municipality, I am sure more will be coming up
By far it is the most beautiful house in November, both clients wanted something that is eco-friendly but also built faster.
It has taken us a record time of 2.5 months to build this magnificent building of 106 sqm in size. Because we were a one stop shop, that simplified life for the owner.
Seeing 70 plus homes built in timber since 2024 has been a dream coming true.
What would you like to know more about wooden homes?
Once considered to be a poor insulator, timber wall frames are now considered one of the best performing materials and are required to greatly reduce the noise passed from room to room.
Timber frames provide virtually the same level of fire protection as brick structures provided the proper fire safety measures are in place, contrary to the earlier belief that brick buildings were more fire-safe.
Here is the difference well explained by University of the Built Environment.
Prefabrication isn’t exactly the same as offsite construction, although they’re often confused with one another.
Offsite construction is broader than prefabrication – it refers to the overall process of construction, from planning and design to fabrication, being performed offsite and then delivered as a complete project to the final site.
Prefabricated construction techniques focus on specific elements of this – the manufacture and assembly of parts.
It’s also slightly different to modular construction, which is another growing trend in the built environment.
While prefabricated buildings can involve an array of components, modular buildings focus on the creation of modular units or ‘modules’ – repeated sections and standardized.
We worn the Sustainability Award 2025
When I started thinking and living timber, I knew how hard the journey was going to be. It has been very challenging but also interesting.
Yesterday we won the sustainability award as homes and Gardens Expo was celebrating 15 years.
I think we deserve it, sustainability in Real Estate is something we need to give attention because the big elephant in the room is Climate change.
