Dear Sailing Boots
How are you?
Since entrusting you with @UPS couriers on a short journey from Spain to the UK on the 5th of January I have not heard from you. I can only assume you're having a whale of a time. I have sent you a nice long letter here https://t.co/OWhBm5u2dY
#PoppyStories 2 years ago we visited #Malta with my Dad, 74 to see the Commonwealth war memorial where his uncle - missing in action over Egypt, Christmas 1941- is honoured. Alfred McLevy was 19. We wear our poppies with pride. #RemembranceDay#remembrance#RemembranceSunday
@lonelyplanet Menorca is one our favourite places in the whole of the med and Mahón last month was still quite busy with cruising live-aboards. Did you know it’s also the birthplace of mayonnaise (mahón-aise)?!
@a_lysssss If there’s any question as to why Spain is again the epicentre of a reassurance of Coronavirus .. this is the mask wearing social distancing youth of Majorca right now.
If the number of empty streets and shuttered holiday villas is anything to go by on the east coast of #Mallorca this is indeed a very bad year for tourism and the economy as a whole in the #Balearics
@LouisaGregson Woman 49 (does that count?) daughter of Czech communist defecting single Mum.. worked as prison therapist and sailing instructor and RNLI crew volunteer.. now attempting to take her family around the world on a sailboat durning Covid-19...?
Following on from a piece we did for Lonely Planet last month, here's another one we did for @Newsweek about sailing as a family during Covid 19 https://t.co/dzIdLjj6n5
