having a very strange issue in c4d where i cant hide pyro. layers, viewport visibility, display tag all dont work, reinstalling did not work. Hiding generators in the filter panel works, but hides what i am trying to actually look at thru the pyro -.-

am i doing something wrong? i should set the created "Pyro Output" to off in viewport and it should go off is what i would think?
