This post is for every Barcelona fan who witnessed it all.

From the moment Neymar left, everything started falling apart. We watched Barcelona spend over €100 million on Coutinho, Dembélé, and Griezmann, hoping they would lead a new era, but instead they became symbols of one of the darkest periods in the club’s history. Dembélé’s miss against Liverpool that could have made it 4-0. His nightmare performance in the second leg against PSG, where Messi scored that incredible goal but Dembélé wasted chance after chance when we could have completed the comeback.

Then came Roma. Then Liverpool. Then the 8-2 against Bayern, the most painful game I’ve ever watched as a Barcelona fan.

But nothing compared to what happened next.

Messi leaving Barcelona.

I remember laughing every time I saw those news accounts saying Messi was leaving. I never even bothered reading them because I thought it was impossible. Messi and Barcelona were one. Then, in a matter of hours, everything changed.

I couldn’t accept seeing Messi in another shirt. It genuinely felt like losing a member of my family. I can’t even describe the pain. For months, I could barely watch Barcelona play without him, and seeing him wear a PSG shirt just made it even worse.

Then one man arrived and changed everything.

Not Laporta. Not Deco. Not Alemany.

Hansi Flick.

When he heard Barcelona wanted him, he literally took a train to Barcelona, signed his contract, and never looked back.

Everyone said Barcelona had no chance. Real Madrid had just signed Mbappé, and people were already handing them every trophy before the season even started.

Flick changed everything.

He brought Barcelona back. He dominated Clásicos, won trophies, unleashed the best version of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, and made every Barcelona fan dream again.

After everything we’ve been through, every moment of happiness with this team feels deserved.

You want this trophy for Messi, while someone else wants it for Lamine Yamal. But if you’re a loyal fan who truly loves both Messi and Lamine…

Understand one thing: once the game begins, Messi won’t care that it’s Lamine on the other side. He will fight for this trophy with everything he has and won’t settle for anything less than winning it.

The same goes for Lamine. He’ll give everything he has, fight until the very end, and do everything possible to lift that trophy.

As for us, our job is simply to watch and enjoy the game rather than obsess over who ends up winning it.

Whoever wins, we’ll celebrate and praise them. Whoever loses, the disappointment will be real. We’ll still be proud, but the sadness won’t be easy to shake off.

This is a game we want to enjoy more than anything else because, as Barcelona fans, it means more to us than it does to anyone else.

Tomorrow, we’ll enjoy every moment of it. 🇦🇷🇪🇸

2015 & 2016: He lost 2 consecutive Copa América finals. They called him a failure, said he would never win with Argentina, and the criticism became so relentless that he retired from international football.

Most players would’ve disappeared after that.

Messi came back.

2021: He won the Copa América against Brazil in the Maracanã.

The excuse?

“Brazil were poor.”
“It was just luck.”

2022: He won the World Cup.

Instead of admitting they were wrong, the excuses changed again.

“Di María carried Argentina.”
“He only scores penalties.”
“It was an easy path.”

2024: He won another Copa América, this time against Colombia.

The excuse?

“Colombia played poorly just to hand Messi another trophy.”

2026: Di María is gone.

The same people who claimed Messi needed him are now watching Argentina reach another World Cup final with Messi leading the team once again.

8 goals. 4 assists. Captain. Leader. Decisive in the biggest moments.

Now the latest excuse is:

“FIFA is helping him.”

That’s the story of Messi’s career.

Every time he proves them wrong, they don’t admit they were mistaken.

They simply move the goalposts and come up with another excuse.

If he wins a 2nd World Cup, don’t expect the excuses to end.

Just expect a new one.
