• Rahul Gandhi as PM
One vision asks:
“How can India compete with the world?”
The other asks:
“How can India classify itself?”
The difference is not political.
It is philosophical.
Modern day civil engineers are the most illegitimate children of Steel frames and glasses. They have no sense of Indian weather and no idea of air circulation. And when u talk about it, they resort to abusing vastu shastras.
The West removes ancient experiential wisdom from its cultural context, maps it to a molecular pathway & names it something like Autophagy (which got a Nobel in 2016)/Intermittent Fasting and suddenly it is ‘science’. If our Indian grandma tells us to fast on Ekadashi, she is a backward dogmatist. But when Dr. Valter Longo does this for us in a Cell Stem Cell journal, it becomes a major medical breakthrough.
When Ayurveda says Langhana (fasting) fires up Agni which burns Ama, they were indeed naming the very same phenomenon as Dr Longo. Ayurveda witnessed the forest: “When we stop putting wood in the fire, the fire burns the dead leaves inside the house.
Modern Science says: “Glucose depletion negatively impacts the PKA pathway, activating a decrease in IGF-1 & initiating regeneration with hematopoietic stem cells.”
Looking at the same mountain from 2 different angles shows two interpretations. 1 describes a user manual for life; the other a chemistry breakdown of the machine.
Modern peer review is a gatekeeping mechanism with deep ties to the Western pharma & academic economy. Producing a scientific paper requires significant financial resources to support research, publication & distribution.
There is no profit in telling people to eat nothing. Therefore, for decades, Western science actively ignored fasting research because it did not feed the trillion-dollar pharmaceutical pipeline.
The moment it became clear that fasting could complement chemotherapy, reducing the toxic side effects of multi-billion dollar oncology drugs, suddenly funding appeared, papers were reviewed, and it became "validated."
The West will continue to "discover" what India always knew. The goal for young India now is to stop waiting for a Western certificate of approval. We need to fund our own clinical research, study our own texts with scientific rigor & reclaim the narrative before it is packaged & sold back to us in a capsule.

This is my favorite argument.
In Hiroshima, roughly 140k people died due to the nuclear bomb out of 350k. That’s 40% of the city.
In Nagasaki, 80k people died out of 263k. That’s 30% of the city.
In Gaza, 73k people have died (according to GHM) out of 2.3 million. That’s about 3% of the population. A substantial percentage of that are terrorists.
So Israel has dropped an amount of bombs on Gaza that exceeds the power of the nuclear bombs we dropped on Japan and yet the death toll is far lower both proportionally and on a raw numbers basis.
How is that possible if Israel is committing genocide? Maybe it’s because they’re not.
Rather long but I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did:
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I lack civic sense.
They can burn streets,
and vandalize a city after a championship game.
I dance at an airport excited about my first foreign trip, and suddenly I am the face of poor civic sense.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I steal jobs.
They move factories across oceans,
shift profits through tax havens.
I study, compete, earn a visa, work 18 hours a day, sometimes multiple jobs and somehow I am the one stealing jobs and scamming the system.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I am everywhere.
I build your software,
treat your illness,
teach your children,
drive your taxis,
and open your stores.
The world became a village,
yet my presence remains a problem.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I am too loud.
The evening news screams outrage.
The internet echoes with anger day and night.
I celebrate a wedding, a festival, a victory,
and I am told my joy is too loud.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I smell of curry.
The world smells of gunpowder,
of hatred,
of division,
of endless arguments about race and religion.
I carry the fragrance of spices from my grandmother's kitchen,
and somehow that is what offends.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I have no culture.
I come from a civilization that counted the stars
when much of the world was still learning maps.
I speak languages older than nations.
I celebrate hundreds of traditions,
yet I am told I have no culture.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I am backward.
I send missions to the Moon.
I build vaccines for millions.
I run companies across continents.
Yet a viral video of one fool becomes evidence against a billion people.
I am an Indian.
I celebrate my favorite actor's success
with flowers, music, and a few glasses of milk.
Others worship influencers who sell outrage, turn every disagreement into a battlefield, and every opinion into a war.
Yet my celebration is the one that makes headlines.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I gather in crowds.
We walk together in processions,
celebrating our faith, our culture, our traditions.
Everyone is welcome.
No shops are looted.
No neighborhoods are burned.
No one is threatened for thinking differently.
We sing.
We dance.
We pray.
And somehow our gathering becomes the problem.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I bring my culture everywhere.
I light a lamp in a foreign land.
I wear a saree in the snow.
I teach my children the language of their grandparents.
Others build walls between neighbors,
argue endlessly over identity,
and forget where they came from.
Yet I am told I should leave my culture behind.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I live in the past.
But my past gave me yoga,
mathematics, philosophy, meditation,
and the idea that the world is one family.
The future keeps borrowing from my past,
while telling me to be embarrassed by it.
I am an Indian,
and everyone says I should be ashamed.
Ashamed of my accent.
Ashamed of my food.
Ashamed of my festivals.
Ashamed of my traditions.
Ashamed of existing.
But I am not ashamed.
I am the child of farmers and philosophers,
scientists and saints, workers and dreamers.
*I come from a land that taught the world
that truth can be many-sided,
that all paths deserve respect,
and that the entire world is one family.*
*Yes, we have flaws. Every nation does.*
*But judge me by my actions, not by your stereotypes.*
For I am an Indian.
*And before you tell me what is wrong with me, look honestly at what you have normalized in yourself.*
For I am an Indian.
The world may mock my accent,
question my customs,
laugh at my celebrations,
and judge me through a thousand stereotypes.
*Yet I stand tall. For I belong to a civilization older than empires, a culture richer than prejudice, and a people whose spirit refuses to bend.*
For I am an Indian.
If you do not see this today in North, thank the Aravalli Range. Otherwise, a large part of North can turn into desert. The desert is moving fast and we have only one barrier against it.
All that nicety nice Lutyens too will cease to exist.
Stop the mining. Save Aravalli.
Cockroach 🪳 Party has
8.9 Lakh followers from Ivory Coast 🇨🇮
8.9 Lakh followers from Malaysia 🇲🇾
8.9 Lakh followers from Palestine 🇵🇸
8.9 Lakh followers from Brazil 🇧🇷
The most surprising part..
8.6 Lakh followers from a town called Topeka in Kansas - USA🇺🇸, which has the total population of 1.25 Lakh. 🤣
Modi told Indians not to travel abroad.
Then he visited five nations in six days.
How rude.
While television screamed about press freedom…
While Trump flew to China collecting headlines…
While Melodi memes flooded timelines…
While half the internet debated cockroaches…
India quietly changed the board.
Not the game.
The board.
And almost nobody noticed.
This was positioning.
11 years of positioning.
Executed in 6 days.
Without firing a bullet.
May 15.
Abu Dhabi.
Two and a half hours.
That was enough.
Three things happened instantly.
One.
India no longer panics during oil shocks.
The reserves are already home.
Two.
Gulf capital now flows into Indian infrastructure.
Not Chinese infrastructure.
Three.
If the Gulf burns tomorrow…
India becomes the escape route.
May 15 to 17.
The Hague.
ASML.
The company China cannot touch.
No ASML machine…
No advanced chips.
No AI race.
No missile guidance.
No semiconductor future.
India walked in quietly.
And got the deal.
Three consequences.
One.
India enters the chip war.
Not as a customer.
As a manufacturer.
Two.
Western technology companies now need India.
Not China.
Three.
The next war will not begin with bullets.
It will begin with semiconductors.
India just armed itself.
May 17 to 18.
Gothenburg.
India-Sweden Technology and AI Corridor.
Signed.
And Ursula von der Leyen was present.
Three outcomes.
One.
Indian AI startups now get direct European access.
Two.
Sweden's defence industry needs Indian scale.
Three.
The India-EU trade relationship just became technological.
Not transactional.
May 18 to 19.
Oslo.
First Indian PM visit in 43 years.
That alone should tell you something.
Norway's Sovereign Wealth Fund.
1.7 trillion dollars.
Largest on earth.
Just signed a Green Strategic Partnership with India.
Not aid.
Not charity.
Partnership.
Three implications.
One.
The world's largest pool of money…
is betting on India.
Two.
Arctic shipping routes are opening.
India just secured a seat.
Three.
Green maritime and hydro technology transfer begins quietly.
May 20.
Rome.
People thought he went there for photographs with Meloni.
He went there for IMEC.
Bye Bye… China & BRI
One.
India becomes Europe's trade artery.
Two.
Italy's stagnant ports revive through Indian trade routes.
Three.
IMEC now has two anchors.
UAE on one side.
Italy on the other.
India runs the pipe between them.
And this is the part people still don't understand.
China needs India.
America needs India.
Russia needs India.
Hostile to none.
Necessary to all.
The next era will not belong to the loudest country.
It will belong to the most indispensable one.
India just applied for that role.
And nobody rejected the application.
If someone tells you India is collapsing…
Show them this post.
And just enjoy the reaction.
A predator entered five boardrooms…
In six days…
Wearing kurta and jacket…
Smiling for cameras…
While quietly acquiring India’s Future.
Jai Bharat!!!
We need a team of clean up marshals across Mumbai who can just do something like this.
No fines, no fights. Just shame.
I am sure many people will change with just the fear of being shamed in public!
@AshwiniBhide@mybmc
India has dealt with 5 Black Swan events in the last 5 years: Covid, Ukraine, Gaza, Tariffs, Iran. The economy remains resilient. Trade has withstood multiple shocks.
Falling rupee & stock market are transient. To argue India is terminally damaged is bad analysis.
Obviously, economic reforms are overdue. Regulatory overreach must go. Tax for FPIs must be rationalised. Policy must be predictable.
The loss of WB has made it fashionable for some to say India has won elections but lost the economy.
Nonsense.
> I just found out that Munak Canal is literally one of Delhi’s main drinking water lifelines.
> Nearly 5 lakh metric tonnes of garbage had piled up along a 25 km stretch there over the years
> From july 2025, Rekha Gupta govt is cleaning it, talking about purification, roads, even solar covers over the canal.
So, what the hell was Kejriwal doing for 10yrs ?
Before cleaning: After cleaning:
11 Years of Governance Failure.
That is why Modi is asking us to buy less gold.
That is why Modi is asking us to save fuel.
Brilliant logic.
Except it is completely wrong.
Before you repeat that narrative.
Look at what 11 years actually built.
Not as BJP Supporter.
Not as Congress Supporter.
Let us count the failures.
One by one.
In 2013.
Per capita income: Rs 74,920 a year.
Today: Rs 2,05,324 a year.
Nearly 3x.
In 2013.
4 crore homes had no electricity.
Today: 99.5% electrified.
In 2013.
23.87 crore Indians had internet.
Today: 102.8 crore.
Four times the population of USA.
Mobile subscribers today: 116 crore.
Data cost in 2014: Rs 308 per GB.
Data cost today: Rs 9.34 per GB.
97% cheaper.
UPI did not exist in 2013.
Today, 21.7 billion transactions per month.
Accepted in 12 countries.
Highways in 2013: 91,287 km.
Highways today: 1,46,560 km.
11 km per day then.
34 km per day now.
Expressways in 2013: 93 km.
Expressways today: 3,052 km.
3,180% growth.
Metro in 2013: 248 km.
Metro today: 1,013 km.
23 cities.
Airports in 2013: 74.
Airports today: 162.
Solar in 2013: 3 GW.
Solar today: 150 GW.
53 times.
Third largest on earth.
Defence exports in 2013: Rs 686 crore.
Defence exports today: Rs 23,622 crore.
34 times.
100 plus countries.
Made in India defence: 25% in 2013.
Made in India defence: 68% today.
NAViC.
BrahMos.
Semiconductor mission.
Nuclear capacity doubled.
A warship every 6 weeks.
If India was failing.
Why is energy demand exploding?
700 Mtoe in 2013.
1,213 Mtoe today.
Nearly double.
Mtoe = Million Tonnes of Oil Equivalent
A failing economy does not double its energy demand.
A roaring one does.
Fossil fuels in power: 90% in 2013.
73% today.
Renewables: 12% in 2013.
50% today.
This is a civilisation in mid-flight.
Hit by a storm it did not create.
Brazil.
Turkey.
Indonesia.
All falling faster than the rupee.
Nobody writes those headlines.
Modi's speech was not weakness.
It was a war communication.
A message to OPEC: India will not beg.
Ask who benefits from the "India failed" narrative.
Ask who profits when Indians lose faith in India.
That is the real war.
Fought with words.
With headlines.
With manufactured despair.
India has survived invasions.
Colonisation.
Partition.
Sanctions.
It will survive this too.
The temporary pain is real.
Accept it.
The destination is permanent.
Believe it.
While the world was busy watching other geopolitical fires burn, PM Modi quietly made five of the most important stops on the planet in five days.
UAE. Netherlands. Sweden. Norway. Italy.
Read that list again slowly. Because each one of those countries holds a key to something India desperately needs right now and cannot afford to get wrong.
Here is the context most people are missing.
Hormuz just got choked. Energy routes that the world treated like guaranteed infrastructure for decades suddenly looked fragile. Supply chains that took forty years to build started wobbling in weeks. Every government that was paying attention started asking the same uncomfortable questions at the same time. Where does our energy actually come from. Who really controls our access to technology. And which trade corridors are still going to exist in five years.
PM Modi clearly got the memo before most.
The UAE is the first stop and energy is the entire reason. The Gulf has been disrupted. Hormuz is under pressure. And the UAE just made a decision that changes everything about how it operates. It stepped outside the OPEC framework. It can now pump freely without anyone's permission. And it has a pipeline that moves oil completely around the Strait. For India that is not just useful. That is survival infrastructure. This meeting is about securing that relationship before the rest of the world wakes up and starts competing for the same thing.
Then comes the stop that will look most important in hindsight.
The Netherlands. Specifically a small city in the south of the country that most people have never heard of. The semiconductor war between America and China is not slowing down. It is accelerating. And India knows that if it is not inside that ecosystem now, it will be buying chips on someone else's terms for the next thirty years. The conversations happening there are not about trade statistics. They are about whether India gets to be part of the supply chain that decides who wins the technology race of this decade.
Sweden is quieter but the signal is loud.
When three leaders stand together in front of Europe's top industrial decision makers, that is not a photo opportunity. That is India saying directly to European capital, you have been talking about reducing China dependency for years and we are the answer you have been looking for. Sweden's industrial companies represent exactly the manufacturing sophistication India needs as it tries to move beyond being a cheap labour destination and become a genuine industrial power.
Most people will skip over Norway entirely. That would be a mistake.
No Indian Prime Minister has made this trip in 43 years. Norway runs the largest sovereign wealth fund on earth. It is patient, long-term, and looking for exactly the kind of growth story India represents. The numbers being discussed are not small. And beyond the capital, Arctic shipping routes and green energy corridors open up a completely different geography for Indian trade. The quiet stops are usually the most deliberate ones.
Italy lands the plane on something much bigger than it appears.
The corridor connecting India to Europe through the Middle East needs a European endpoint and Italy is it. When that corridor is fully operational, Indian goods reach European consumers faster and cheaper than they ever have before. Without passing through the chokepoints that everyone just watched become weapons. Add the India-EU free trade negotiations running in parallel and you are looking at a structural shift in how India plugs into the global economy.
Here is the honest truth about what this week actually means.
The world is being reorganised right now. Not gradually over decades the way it usually happens. Rapidly. In months. And the positions countries lock in during this window will determine where they sit in whatever order emerges on the other side.
India is not sitting still waiting to see how things shake out.
Five countries. Five days. Energy security, chip access, European industrial integration, sovereign capital, and a trade corridor that rewires the map.
PM Modi is not touring the world.
He is building a different India for what comes next.
People trolled rekha Gupta too much and now that she's doing great work for Delhi noone's appreciating her
Looks like they'll again talk about her when Delhi's environment will get polluted (because of the weather/agriculture and festivals!)
