Mobile phones can be really useful in an emergency so don't waste your battery power as a torch. An LED headtorch is so easy to include in your pack, especially at this time of year.
Clocks go back 2am Sunday. This means one hour less daylight, which kind of matters when on the hill. Plan ahead and make sure everyone in the group has a good torch, that is tested and working.
