Chips & mushy peas 😋. Sat on a bench at the side of a path, sheltered from the wind, golf course & sea view. No salt 😔. I’ve been given my orders from my adult children - no salt 🧂 keep your blood pressure down. No stressing about work. Only happy thoughts in happy places 😊.

@maisieproff Love it, Dave. ‘athletes’ like us. I’ll take it😂. My kids want to ensure I do what I can to avoid meds. My blood pressure has been in the red a lot lately. I’ve managed to get it down to amber, & even the odd evening reading down near the green. I worry so they don’t have to 😂

@MelindaHoward4 Thanks, Melinda. This is where I’m going to live - rural&coast. Currently I live in urban concrete town. I’ve never seen it look so bad as it does now. I moved away in the mid 80s. Glad I did. Moved back to be with the woman I love (my wife). We’ll be moving out when funds allow.

Oldest son & his pals flew ✈️ to Belfast this morning - I’m worried 😧

My number one son has his school leaver’s prom tonight. Looking very dapper in his suit. Number two son (taller than us - we fed him well 😂 + he’s a gym bro) has his school prom on Thursday. Busy week. Very proud of my boys. Growing into fine young men.

@tracehodge17 Yes. I think they want rid of the individual childminder & push towards the bigger enterprises. Same with my industry. Bigger biz absorb bureaucracy easier. More bureaucracy & biz barriers squeezes out mom & pop fitting their biz around their family commitments & customer choice.

Not posted in a while. Great to see folks posting their running & fitness journeys. It encourages me, & no doubt many others. I’m keeping up my🏃‍♂️streak. Only the minimum 😔. Tiring at work & busy at home. I’m enjoying the colour in my garden. Peony / Alium / Aqualegia / Quince ☺️

@tracehodge17 @MelindaHoward4 Same. 13yrs in biz. Last 2 yrs have been the most difficult. This year is the first time ever I’ve thought of packing it in. If it wasn’t for employing someone in their first job & someone who has only 18months left to retirement I probably would have let them go, & packed it in.

@MelindaHoward4 Thanks, Melinda. I’m just busy at work & at home. I feel a little under pressure as a micro business owner. Every supplier I have feels the same. My sons have their Prom soon. One has his first holiday abroad with his pals. I feel ill worrying about it. UK 🇬🇧 in a mess. Hey ho 🤷‍♂️

My wife has no social media. No facebook, twitter, or instagram. She doesn’t watch tv. Never listens to the news. Her life is her family. She keeps me sane in an increasingly insane 🇬🇧. But for my happy place, I’d go insane too. Without her, I’d move to 🇺🇸 Texas, & be a cowboy 🤠
