@lolotehe The old "classic" version seems to still be available and functional, at least for me. Could be they're doing some sort of rolling release/cut-off thing though of course, and I just haven't gotten to the chopping block yet.
The curb's public and all, but it never ceases to amaze me how many people will just blithely park such that they're totally blocking a mailbox, and partially the driveway.
Extra ticked as they're the only car at the curb in the whole vicinity. They could've parked anywhere.
@linode I still think Linode needs a centralized place to report IP blocks, since I feel you as a company (as opposed to us individuals) would also have better luck contacting places to lift those blocks.
VPN loses some utility when major sites block entire Linode ASNs wholesale.
Not a fan of door-to-door sales to begin with, but I seriously detest the ones dressed in hardhats and high-V vests like they're utility crew.
That's just shady and I'm not buying shit from you. Plus it makes people less likely to answer the door to legit crew.
Well, now I know what a face full of bees is like.
At least they're normal bees, so they didn't swarm or chase me. They got upset when my loud weeder got right below the nest (apparently up inside the eave).
Curious to find out how big the nest is, once the bug guy gets here.
Wow. How to know invasive ad tracking has gotten way too goddamn out of hand: my local grocery store's website tries a fucking *script injection* and when it's (*obviously*!) not allowed to do that, it shuts down and blocks any further access attempts.
@TweetDeck On the Notifications column, there's no Clear option at all anymore like there was in the old TD, so it's stuck pointlessly displaying old, long-acknowledged notifications. #TweetDeckFeedback
@TweetDeck On the Home column, the option "Clear Tweets" only clears single tweets. It does not clear threads, which stay around permanently and can't be cleared, making the whole thing a jumbled mess. #TweetDeckFeedback
@TweetDeck The entire sidebar from the old TD is missing, so there's no account management (nor logoff option), there's no way that I can find to post a new tweet, etc. Without the sidebar TD is basically read-only, no post. #TweetDeckFeedback
Hell. It'd been useful for years and years (and years), but @Twitter finally remembered they still had @TweetDeck and promptly "revamped" it, fucking it all up.
Unfortunate way to realize it's maybe time to have the windows replaced and frames resealed: someone hit a skunk just outside and the terrible stank is nooooot staying out. D:
The very rare few that do get through are so utterly off-base they're hilarious. Almost random. Sometimes presented in languages I don't speak.
And seeing all that leaves me so extremely pleased--proud even--to have poisoned the "personalization" well that thoroughly.
With all my plug-ins and blockers that are so effective, I aaaaaallllmost never see any ads. Haven't for yeeeeaaaars. Just the occasional one, usually on the phone--harder to block there, being a more closed system (one reason I rarely use it).
