@Fred__18 Fred, imagine teams who have Aduo, especially Mercedes, only use it to develop the ERS and turbo while keeping ICE as it is to keep getting it every year!! It's a stupid rule, and I can't believe how teams didn't see this.
@F1Techy@RBR_Daily 7 kg don't make the car so bad at high speed; it loses deployment frequently and has bad restart/recharge software. It affects low-speed corners (which is where the RB22 is good), balance, and tire degradation, but it's not catastrophic. Obviously Max would've pole without 7kg
@imZephion@verstappenews I agree, but Ford helped a lot in battery technology; they were nowhere near the ICE-only manufacturing of some 3D-printed parts quickly. And thank god they didn't touch the ICE.
@brakeboosted If Red Bull Ice is that good, then Ben Hodgkin did a stellar job, while I suspect Ford didn't. They were helping with the electrical/battery side, and that's where Red Bull lags to Mercedes.
@mandarthalorian And the idiots were holding onto the first engine like they were genuinely expecting to cook a rocket ready for Barcelona. All teams figured out the start software, formation lap battery recharge, and power deployment issues, and our team doesn't even know where they stand.
@15111511I1511 Max only having used one engine until this point while all the other competitors are on their second engine at least, in addition to Mekkies own words, leads me to believe that red bull expects to have Aduo
@Fred__18 His pace today and Mercedes' were truly untouchable. Do you think Verstappen's RB 22 with reliability issues would've been able to keep up with him better than Hamilton's?
@Fred__18 Fred, how do you think a driver going from not even considered the best rookie last year (Hadjar was better in a midfield car) to dominating this year and destroying a top driver like Russell? Piastri was similar, a mid driver, and then suddenly after McL 23 upgrades, he rose.
