For all the parents out there dealing with a decision... let me give you another perspective
In 2018 my wife and I went in for our 20? week ultra sound at Beth Israel in Boston... the rep was very quiet the whole time, something seemed off. My wife & I were first time parents... didn't have much context. The doctor pulled us into her office and told us our sons nuchal fold was abnormally large... she went on to say there is a significant increased chance of Down Syndrome and even Turner's syndrome... talked about options to terminate the pregnancy. My wife was inconsolable, rightly so ... even thinking about it now brings back a lot of heavy emotions because of how hard of a day it was... hard...
I did a lot of research on the topic ... my wife & I prayed non stop about it. All we could do. The doctors wanted to do an amniocentesis which has its own host of risks..run more tests...
We came to the conclusion, which was not easy... it didn't matter... no amnio, no more tests.... I felt in my soul the Lord's plan was perfect and if our son was going to have Down Syndrome we would love him and shepherd him through this world the best we could. We get what we get. Anything from the Lord was a BLESSING and I was not going to point my finger at Him
Fast forward to today... our son is going to be 8 in the fall. He is perfect. Just hit a homerun the other day... a much better baseball player than I was at his age. My best friend
I share this deeply personal story for nothing more than to give just ONE parent hope... the Lord's plan is perfect... stay the course
This is Todd “Let’s Roll” Beamer, who died heroically while trying to retake United Flight 93 from Al Qaeda terrorists on 9/11. His final resting place, is in Cranbury, NJ — where he was living with his wife and children before his murder. Cranbury is located in NJ-12, where the new Democratic nominee for Congress is Adam Hamawy.
Hamawy was a close associate and translator to Omar Abdel-Rahman, aka the ‘Blind Sheikh,’ an arch terrorist convicted of masterminding multiple plots against targets in NYC — including the World Trade Center. Hamawy testified at Adbel-Rahman’s trial, as a defense witness.
It has also been reported that Hamawy traveled to Bosnia to volunteer at an organization that was later unmasked as an Al Qaeda front group.
One of Hamawy’s loudest and most high-profile supporters and endorsers has openly declared that America deserved the 9/11 attacks.
Hamawy is now the prohibitive frontrunner to represent Todd Beamer’s district in the United States Congress.

Cornerstone mourns the passing today of the inspirational Michael Yakubovich. Michael was a principled and righteous leader who, if not for the evil of cancer, would be serving in the New Hampshire Senate today.
Michael was as compassionate and kind as he was forceful in fighting against injustice. The Granite State is a darker place today without the light of his example.
Michael had the strength of a warrior in his fight against cancer. He pursued emerging treatments energetically while remaining physically active, playing music, and staying politically engaged.
Last summer, Michael had regained enough energy to step forward as a leader of New Hampshire's Right to Try movement.
HB 701, a Right to Try bill signed by Governor Ayotte in August, was named in Michael's honor. In the fall, legislators introduced two more Right to Try bills—one of which was again named for Michael with his blessing.
The House resoundingly endorsed both bills two weeks ago, and Governor Ayotte asked the legislature to pass them.
Then, as now, Right to Try faced relentless opposition. But Michael, driven by empathy for sick and suffering patients, never backed down. One year ago, Michael wrote of opponents of Right to Try: "I have no nice words for them, considering they are fighting the most fragile & damaged people on the planet."
Michael rejected the idea that pro-innovation reforms should involve years of protracted deliberation. He explained his position in an op-ed he wrote last May.
"When you or someone you love hears the words 'you have cancer,' your world stops," he wrote. "The flood of emotions is overwhelming."
"But what comes next is just as hard. You begin a fight for your life. And in that fight, time is everything. You don't have the luxury of waiting for years of bureaucratic reviews and regulatory approvals. You need options. Now."
This morning, around the time Michael passed away, state legislators were discussing Right to Try in a committee of conference. As we pray for peace for Michael's family and loved ones, we also pray that legislators will do the right thing, move Right to Try forward, and continue to honor Michael's legacy and example.
.@jamestalarico fundamentally has a @KamalaHarris problem. It doesn’t matter what you say in 2026 (or in 2024) when the treasure trove of video of whacky statements made circa 2020-2022 are all most voters will see by November

Been living in Europe 3 years now with my wife and two kids
More and more questions lately about whether/when we’ll move back to the US
We don’t know
My Dutch and EU friends are typically shocked after I explain to them that, despite a 50% top income tax and a global unrealized wealth tax, we would still net far less disposable income in the US than the Netherlands, for example.
Health+dental insurance for a family of 4 in the NL costs ~€350/month with a ~€300/year deductible which the Dutch call “eigen risico” or “own risk”
We rent a 4 bedroom ground floor apartment with a huge back garden in arguably the most desirable part of the city… and pay less than our mortgage in New Jersey in 2020 when we had a 3% interest rate.
We don’t own cars. Transportation is super cheap relatively.. I estimate 10-20% cheaper because we bike, walk, tram, train.. rent a car when needed for short trips.
Kids go to a school that costs €0/year that costs $40,000/year in New Jersey.
DAMN. Former Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire, a Democrat, goes scorched earth on the current Democrats leading the state. Says they have no clue how bad their policies are for the economy.

The Transportation Secretary leveraging his reality TV background and partnering with aligned stakeholders to promote the broader imperative of travel and tourism in the United States in conjunction with the nation's semiquincentennial is good, actually.
The EU has run out of ways to regulate their own businesses out of existence, so Brussels bureaucrats keep developing ways to go after American companies. It’s wrong and is harmful to US interests. Good work @GroverNorquist
“I’d absolutely support JD Vance,” said April Melton, chair of Iowa’s Black Hawk County GOP. “He has a young family to bring to the White House.”
Asked about Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, she replied: “I think that they do a fabulous job where they’re at.” https://t.co/sqbxZsIjBp
