@UncivilLawyer@michaelschwab13 Actually, they shifted very little against him. Only 36% of the time. He can hit it anywhere he wants so they won’t shift much against him. Might improve slightly but not much.
@michaelschwab13 Wade Miller, Tim Redding & Kirk Saarloos. Along with Roy Oswalt, these guys were supposed to be the next great pitching staff. “Miller time” was special in Houston.
@CameronMaybin@Carlos_Rodon55 How does Rondon help them not strike out 50 times in a 4 game series? Can’t get on base. Same holes still. Like the signing on Rodon but addressed an area of strength already…
@YankeeWRLD I like the addition of Rodon. I didn’t see that as a weakness though, especially in the ALCS. What has been done to fix striking out 50 times in a 4 game series 🧹? Who is going to get on base? I still see holes in that lineup. Astros got a big bat in Abreu which was a weakness.
@SportsTalk790 They struck out 50 times in 4 games. They can’t get on base. Yankees needs bats and bullpen arms. Rodon is a great addition but Abreu to Houston is even better. Astros actually fixed an issue, not sure the Yankees have addressed their issues.
@michaelschwab13@JimBowdenGM@michaelschwab13 Yankees starting pitching was never the problem. They struck out 50 times in the 4 game 🧹. What have they done to improve their bats and bullpen? Astros got better with Abreu at 1B. Houston has a problem? Can’t win games if you can’t get one base…
@ginaluhnow@BenOndaTop Everyone knows who built this @ginaluhnow and @jluhnow… not just Astros fans but everyone that knows baseball. Looking forward to seeing what you build on the soccer field, Jeff. Wishing y’all nothing but the best! 🍻
I don’t think I’ve seen the Astros legacy explained as PERFECTLY as former Marlins executive David Samson does here. This was from the night the Astros won the World Series. Worth the 2 minutes. I feel this way entirely. Every word of it.
@bbsfunhouse@BarstoolHubbs Remember the schedule changes next year. Teams are not playing as many Division games as previous years… don’t see how the astros don’t win 100 or close to 100 next year
