Some of the messages I’m receiving from non-Ugandan friends since Friday:
- ‘We’re seeing the news, we’re with you people in prayers’
- ‘Is what we are seeing in the news really true? Not again Uganda’
- ‘Are you sure you still want to stay in that country?’
- ‘Western media exaggerates bad news from Africa. Are these exaggerations of what is happening there?’
- ‘I wanted to visit Uganda in December, but I’m only seeing scary stories from there. Is it wise to come?’
- ‘Do you think it will get worse or better?’
How about everyone in their capacity starts to irritate cannibal @mkainerugaba? How big is his basement? Prof. Ssempebwa where are you? Or you are waiting to criticise @IsaacSsemakadde SC
What’s the plan for job creation by the new people in charge? They’re shutting down nonprofit organizations, media houses, stifling capital flow for businesses, making the country too insecure for tourists etc. These sectors employ the bulk of the population.
I am asking to know their plan. I am not even dwelling on the fact that what they are doing undermines the law. It’s obvious even a little child knows.
In 2013, the Ugandan government temporarily shut down the Daily Monitor and NTV for publishing a leaked security dossier exposing the controversial "Muhoozi Project".
Fast-forward to 2026, with the succession project fully matured, the subject himself, now CDF Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has ordered the closure of the same media houses.
Unlocking press freedom in Uganda: What must be done
"Although protected under Articles 29 and 41 of the Ugandan Constitution, repeated violations of press freedoms, particularly by security forces, highlight ongoing concerns about constitutional guarantees." https://t.co/TaMAGiGfY0
Same way Matembe is not your father’s sister is the same way your father is not our grandfather hence he should stop addressing us as bazukulu.

On the broader front, if one public official can shut down a multi-million dollar enterprise with just one tweet, what does that communicate to foreign capital?
Muhoozi is now left with closing hospitals, water supply system in Uganda. If you think you were not a victim of this system, now you will feel it to your nerve.
If you want to identify idiots and useless people, see those begging or appealing to cannibal @mkainerugaba, an individual, in lieu of INSTITUTIONS. Institutions are built to bludgeon such individuals. Of course we have reached where we are because of neglecting our institutions
If they can casually without any legal basis shutdown NTV, Daily,Spark TV,KFM at once ....what do you think will happen to you as an individual with just followers and your phone
