More than 50 cities across the United States are preparing to hold protests against AI data centers on July 18.

The events are being coordinated by Humans First a conservative advocacy organization that maintains local communities should have greater say in decisions about siting large scale AI facilities.

Organizers contend that the swift growth of AI infrastructure is driving higher electricity consumption increasing water usage generating noise pollution altering land use patterns and raising questions about public health and national security.

Demonstrations are scheduled in over 50 locations spanning states such as California, Texas, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio, and New Jersey. These actions reflect mounting nationwide resistance to AI data centers.

A recent Gallup survey revealed that 70 percent of Americans oppose the construction of such facilities in their own neighborhoods. Primary worries include rising utility costs greater water demands environmental consequences increased traffic noise and potential declines in nearby property values.

Proponents of data centers maintain that they are necessary to satisfy surging demand for artificial intelligence capabilities and to keep the United States at the forefront of global AI development.

The planned protests underscore an escalating tension between the push for expanded AI infrastructure and the concerns of communities designated to accommodate it.

We are heartbroken to share that Dror Or who was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, had been confirmed as murdered and his body is being held in Gaza.

Dror’s wife Yonat was murdered on October 7.

His children Alma (13) and Noam (17) who were held hostage by Hamas and released in November, are now orphans along with their older brother Yahli.

May Dror’s memory be a blessing.

Hamas just executed two Palestinians in the city of Tulkarem in the West Bank in accusation of collaborating with Israel.
They hung their bodies on an electricity pole for everyone to see and all gathered to picture it.
