Media as a catalyst for health!

Ahead of #WorldBreastfeedingWeek, UNICEF India organized a workshop in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, with experts from the National Health Mission, Govt. of Chhattisgarh, and UNICEF, interacting with the media to urge them to promote exclusive breastfeeding, healthy diets, and the IMS Act.

​The key message -- Breastfeeding requires community-wide support—especially from families—and prioritizing fresh, locally sourced home meals over ultra-processed foods is vital for mother and child health.
