@dog_rates My friend’s 15 YO dog passed she was devastated. She was not ready to discuss another dog. The next week a one year old pup was jumping on their car in a parking lot asking to be taken home. They called the shelter, looked for a tag, etc., but clearly she was sent by their dog.

@dansaltzstein This is the end of the thread, & I am SO HOMESICK. I’m 12 in 1970 something & my dad leaves me in a running Cadillac outside his dry goods store on 40th between 8th and 9th. Guy gets in to steal the car and my hero dad (Late 50’s out of shape) throws the guy almost to 9th ave.

@stucam7771 No pic but I saw my neighbor backing out of his driveway and wave at his dog in the picture window as he pulled away. Such a little gesture, but so sweet. Pick is of my 12 year olds, Higgins and Ginger. He is 3x her size but the camera has a different perspective.
