A major new study published today by a panel of Democrats and Republicans ranks states by quality of life. The states at the top aren't the richest, and they don't have the highest tax rates -- although they do seem to do an unusually good job executing policy and sharing the wealth that they create. Often they have opposition parties strong enough to keep ruling parties nervous and effective.

Folks, this election is no longer about policy - it's about our national identity, about who we are. The President depicting the Obamas as monkeys, a Florida gubernatorial candidate unleashing antisemitism and cheered for it, another peddling Islamophobia, ICE agents detaining a 5 year old in bunny ears and a Spiderman backpack, the whitewashing of credible allegations in the Epstein files of pedophilia and rape. All of it now routinely enabled and given equity in the public square. It's vile.

We're holding a mirror up to ourselves right now. Forget about policy - this is about who we are as a people, and its terrifying what the answer most days seems to be.

One of the fundamental tenets of our campaign for Florida Governor is that everyone's rights should be protected and their dignity celebrated - their dignity celebrated - regardless of the color of their skin, where they were born, who they love, or who they worship.

Whether you believe in the teachings of a faith that declares we are all made in God's image or whether you embrace Jefferson's declaration of the natural rights of man, this is what we are litigating right now in America.

We will never make America great again if we don't first make America good again. Please consider doing your part to make us good again. May we all commit to at least that this November.
