@EdgeofSports Honestly Dave, I am not prepared to live in a world where Colin Cowherd is this right. I feel like McNulty looking around Stringer Bell's apartment after String is dead and muttering "who have I been chasing?"
Saddened to hear about the passing of former Wolverine Darius Morris. In 2010-11 Darius was our starting pt gd . He was a leader in that program changing 21 win season that laid the foundation for Michigan’s next decade of success.
RIP DMo and condolences to the Morris family.
Jim Harbaugh’s final appearance as Michigan’s football coach ended with this speech:
The St. Crispin's Day Speech in Shakespeare's play Henry V Is flooded with wisdom, insight and the essence of being on a team. We noticed the similarities in football: The mission, the football battles we fight in, and the brotherhood of our 2023 Michigan Wolverine football team.
The following excerpt of the speech speaks truly loudly and for itself:
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home, Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named, And rouse him at the name of Crispian. He that shall out-live this day, and see old age, Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbors, And say ‘To-morrow is Saint Crispian’
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars. And say ‘These wounds I had on Crispin’s day.’ Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot, But he’ll remember with advantages What feats he did that day: then shall our names. Familiar in his mouth as household words:
J.J. McCarthy: The MVP. Corum and Sainristil. Keegan and Zinter. Jenkins and Barrett.
in their flowing cups freshly remember’d. This story shall the good man teach his son; And Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by, From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it will be remember’d; We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed Shall think themselves accursed they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.
Team 144: We salute you: A band of brothers. Thank you.
Every coach in every sport talks about creating a culture.
Dan Campbell has actually done it, in a place it often felt it would never happen.
No matter how much credit you give him, it’s not enough.

Michigan beats a top-ten, one-loss team on the road, without its head coach, and without attempting a single pass in the second half. (Still amazed by that one.)
Suspect this one will be remembered for a long time.
@Charlitsu With how polarized we are on everything, it’s not shocking this would be an issue here too. Season 1 was good. Season 2 has been excellent. Character building has been strong. Pacing was my biggest gripe with the texts. The show writers have killed it w/ pacing.
@CNN@andersoncooper I watched for the first five minutes out of respect for what CNN used to be, but this was wrong. CNN wouldn’t give life to his lies during his campaign rallies and for good reason. If they did they were ready with real-time fact checkers. This was a campaign rally. Indefensible.
"I’m sorry. This is going to be difficult to say with a straight face."
Jake Tapper can't help but laugh at Fox News' statement after reaching a $787 million settlement with Dominion.
