Devcon Community Hubs are ramping up! Who's ready to organize one this year? ✨
They're definitely one of my favorite spaces within @EFDevcon.
Community + knowledge + shared experiences = unbeatable moments and memories 💜
Our Berlin Neo-cypherpunk Summit will be the most political event we have made in @web3privacy history.
Politics have different contextualisations. In my native Ukraine, it symbolised "dirty game" within artificially created "consent", so people wouldn’t change the ruling order (itdidn't help pro-Russian & anti-EU folks).
War catalysed the necessity for explicit politics. Where language, music, clothing, and behaviour turned out to be part of politics. Millions of people became political almost overnight. Sadly, powered by rockets and tanks.
Decentralisation is political by default. Because it shifts power. Hopefully, not a small, but a big power. Practitioners know how hard, or almost impossible, it is to happen. But cases all over the world keep proving that even an individual is able to bring about bigger change.
It's not popular to talk about politics in the blockchain space. Because you will scare partners that use neutral and clean language in their communication. They don't even appeal to freedom these days, more to financial sovereignty.
Making a political summit means navigating complex micro-politics, group dynamics, and dozens of causes. Moving between "AI genocide" and "Unionised tech workers", "mesh networks for millions of Ugandan opposition" to "Access to internet for Iranians".
Such cases and practical tools give cultural relevancy to things we do. Reality check: turn on the news and ask yourself if the thing you do is relevant to the moment?
And of course, there's a centric tension between the state and cypherpunk way. But through my years, I have seen cypherpunks fundraising from both governmental programmes and even VCs. Why not, if it fuels the cause?! And yeah, not many people talk about how ethical tech is barely surviving and is locked within "bullshit jobs" of never-ending fundraising (not from the best people on the planet).
So here we are. Not bounding ourselves to one camp. Rather to the digital rights camp with a multiplicity of variations, personas, and collectives flourishing together in activism. Pardon, the joy of activism.

@mattpocockuk What about keeping tickets not tightly coupled with GitHub? Many people work with other git remotes. Is it possible to have placeholder to let users choose which got remote is used ?
@mattpocockuk Got same issue. I am thinking to put concrete flow rule for `domail-model` and `grill-me` NOT to start implementation but to wait for user input, pass `to-prd` foe example. Will it solve for now? btw, how did you figure out that `auto` mode makes those?
Censorship resistance. Open source. Privacy. Security.
Everyone is talking about these, but what do they actually mean in practice? 👀
Here are a few talks to understand ↓
@mattpocockuk what about step before to grill-me/domain-model, what is your recommendation? Naturally I feel than before it would be nice to let agent load relevant skills and prepare context of the subject, warm up kinda. Is there a skill for that? I naturally warm up same prompt style;
📚 Have you tried the new https://t.co/Tuhv0qthGX?
👨🏫 It is a really good AI teacher for learning how to build on Ethereum.
⚙️ Follow the commands in Cursor or Claude Code and it will guide you, write code for you, and even quiz you on concepts!!!
