Grateful to have had attended a NASPA Ashanti Regional Empowerment Summit & General Assembly Meeting the on 29th August,2026.

It was a great opportunity to learn, connect, and engage with fellow service personnel.
I was particularly delighted to meet and interact with some National NASPA Executives and other Regional Executives gaining valuable insights on leadership, service, and youth empowerment.

On 7th August 2026, the Ashanti Regional NASPA Executives paid a courtesy visit to the NEIP Director, Alhaji Moro Gausu Obideaba to discuss matters concerning NASPA, youth advocacy, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for national service personnel.

The engagement underscored NASPA’s commitment to advocacy, youth empowerment, and strategic partnerships.

A few minutes ago, the @mydeghana signed landmark Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Design and Technology Institute (DTI) and the Christian Council of Ghana, establishing strategic partnerships to advance youth skills development, employment, entrepreneurship, values-based leadership, and labour mobility in Ghana.

The MoU with DTI focuses on industry-driven skills training and employability, while the partnership with the Christian Council of Ghana leverages the Council's nationwide reach to promote volunteerism, national values, responsible digital citizenship, substance abuse prevention, and psychosocial support for young people.

This collaboration will enable more young Ghanaians to access high-quality, industry-driven skills training, thereby improving their employability and supporting entrepreneurship. It will also create inclusive opportunities for women, persons with disabilities, vulnerable youth, and underserved communities, offering pathways to both local and international employment.

With the Ministry leading policy initiatives and our partners focusing on technical implementation, workforce development, and values-driven youth engagement, these partnerships demonstrate our shared commitment to unlocking the vast potential of Ghana's youth and building a more skilled, principled, and globally competitive workforce. #YouthPower #JobsForYoungPeople #DTI

The Regional Youth Conference of the Western Region, held on Friday, 7 August, was a huge success. I commend the Regional Youth leadership for putting together such an impactful event. These engagements are important in motivating our youth organizers, strengthening their resolve, and keeping the grassroots energized.

I challenged participants to build on the Region’s 2024 performance and work towards achieving even better results in 2028.

I also used the occasion to express my profound gratitude to Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, MP for Ellembelle and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, for his immense and consistent support for me and the youth wing over the years.

My appreciation also goes to the Regional Youth Wing, led by Alhaji Mustapha Iddrisu and his deputies, for their continued support, and to all constituency and branch youth organizers across the Western Region for their support, commitment and hard work. #YouthPower
