Earlier this week, Nairobi City County launched its Climate Action Plan, a public commitment to reduce the growth of future emissions, support the achievement of international and national climate change mitigation goals and reduce vulnerability to climate impacts.

The 3day forum highlights the urgent need for action on climate financing for African cities, which are increasingly vulnerable to extreme weather events.
