Don’t think there are many here who don’t follow me elsewhere, but some may:
I’m leaving teaching in May. After nearly a decade in the classroom I’ve decided to move on. I’ll be joining the K20 Center at OU in June and I’m super excited!
Two years ago I was in Colorado for Link Crew training when I got the worst phone call of my career.
Love all my Moore folks. Thinking about those families today.
In class I said the phrase “as the prophet Tupac once said: ‘I ain’t a killa but don’t push me’” and a student asked “who’s Tupac?”
We need a History of Hip Hop in America elective ASAP.
@SheaSerrano’s Rap Yearbook can be the text.
3. This guy is getting ratio’d into oblivion.
You absolutely love to see it.
How about you tweet a huge “thank you” to educators who stayed in the profession and are showing up everyday during a pandemic that your boss has woefully ignored instead of calling us out?
It's insulting that you think this is any district's "first reaction." We've been pulling all available staff to cover classes. The fact that #oklaed schools and districts have maintained instruction as long as we have shows your complete lack of situational understanding.
The first reaction should not be to shut schools down. It is the last resort. Parents are tired and children suffer when administrators act out of fear and not in the best interests of their kids and their future. (1/2)
No “Moore 4 Christmas” at Norman?
No problem.
My classes raised $1K for @ptokc to help stock their “Merry Market” for parents to get gifts (for free) for their kids!
Incredible stuff. Couldn’t be more proud.
