It didn't take that long to fall in love with @TOTOUSA my first trip to Japan. My judgement was clouded. I was confident Toto would make me whole but I stubbornly tried to make @Lowes fix this problem because they took a fat stack and didn't deliver. After escalating within Toto, this landed from the top:
"Managements response: Hello [actually a good dude at Toto]. This is a Lowe's issue. Lowe's will have to contact their distributor, who is not TOTO but someone that Lowe's purchases through. They shorted the order and will need to make the customers whole. Hopefully Lowe's will not require all products to be returned to them for replacement."
Lowes never mentioned this mysterious distributor. Who are they? Why is Lowes sending me to Toto and protecting this crook? And why do I need to pull my 150lb toilets out of my bathroom to get this fixed?
PSA: DON'T BUY TOTO FROM LOWES
@TOTOUSA your toilets are being sold on @Lowes but missing parts. I'm going back and forth between your support channels and you are blaming each other like kids and not taking accountability. Just send me the part I need: THU-856.
@TOTOUSA Look at this beauty. Toto Nexus + S7A? Autoflush? If it was bought at @Lowes, then I'd wager not, even if you thought you bought that version!
