@thepressboxpod I don't know why this matters so much to me but how do NBA teams decide on that year's play off 'moniker'? I'm thinking of GS' 'gold blooded' or Dallas being 'all in'. How do they make sure no one picks the same phrasing? Huge fan of the pod.

@nikkibrunker Cheers Nikki. I gave individual fb with their marked assignments on OneNote. Then in class we did more collective feedback. And then... I've got a form of they want their marks reviewed. Pleased: less stressful process overall

@gregmiller68 This is so insightful and thought provoking. In my classes, the use of flipped videos takes some of the content out of the classroom, gives back time, creates a wholly different environment - - an active one - - for students. Thanks for sharing!

Teaching is not delivering information. Teaching is building relationships with students and supporting them as they apply new information to complex tasks. The power of technology is that it allows educators to spend less time delivering information and more time truly teaching.

The constant pressure to “catch kids up” doesn’t actually lead to increased mastery of content or skills. You can’t rush kids through learning experiences. You can’t devalue relationship building because kids are “behind.” All you can do is work to meet kids where they are at.
