@kim_schincariol @Teachers__Unite Kim you are absolutely right. The needs of students are huge. It's an impossible task to meet all their needs and even more difficult for a supply. On a positive note, some students are learning to be patient and resourceful.

@cathleencrudden Yep, my class only has six desk. 23 students and six desks. Students are using random tables. Where do they put they books? In the bins I brought in and in the bins that were once filled with math manipulatives. So, why are EQAO results low? Invest in education!

@Teachers__Unite All TVDSB staff received training two weeks ago. We now know what to look for to address behaviour. Examples: if say no, wearing jewelry, crouching down, or turning away from a student leads to workplace violence...then the educators need to do better 🤦‍♂️. Thanks TVDSB.

People become burnt out when they are doing too little of what brings them joy. W/o worklife balance were left with fast food ed

@MaryFraserH Mary, the government classifies these "attendance systems" as part of their mental health supports that they are providing to Ont. "You've been sick a lot during an ongoing pandemic, with no safety protocols in place. Get back to work, otherwise your job is threatened.

@RW_Crank @Teachers__Unite Miranda, the government has done a great job. They are putting those who make 100k again those that make far less, while receiving 160k+bonuses. Your suggestion of stealing from the middle class and provide to those making less is wrong, unless you work for the Ont Govt.
