@usually_okay1@GiteshPandya Yeah granted some Marvel movies got panned but they do always seem to have a larger critical lens for DC especially for Live Action films.
@GiteshPandya I can expect some trolls will laugh at this. "First DC movie not to open #1 since Jonah Hex" It makes me wonder if they should have just tried to compete the same weekend as Minions instead of the week prior.
IDK if you're trolling or if you actually believe this either way it's completely off base. You're saying it'll do worse than He-Man. If anything I think Supergirl will hit 25m opening day.
@TheAhmedSalem@jonathanmb32 Nonsense. The worst Projection has it @ 45m and even then I doubt it'll dip below 50m. Moana is actually a big question mark Presales have been weak apparently.
@AStan2Remember@CBMCringe As long as critics and fans enjoy it it'll do fine. As long as it passes $350m that's a safe bet to break even. At the very worst it'll be a streaming hit when it launches on HBO Max.
@JRosaler @MarvelFan_95 @Boxreport And Superman had healthy weekly drops & a healthy 2nd Market meaning there's momentum. Supergirl is riding that films coattails. I believe 450-500m is within reach if WOM is excellent.
