@CoughsOnWombats@ciphergoth@xwanyex Depends on how premeditation gets defined...if the guy saw the break-in, went to get his firearm, then started shooting, the argument for pre-meditation may be reasonably strong. IIRC pre-meditation can just mean "not reflexive".
@SwannMarcus89 This guy’s pinned post is a Substack talking about how lighting Minneapolis on fire in 2020 was a good thing, actually. The level of cognitive dissonance is mind blowing.
@SwannMarcus89 This 95 IQ slop is just incredible to watch. You can look at this dude's face and just see there's not a lot going on upstairs. But he's got hustle and I can appreciate that at least.
@nataliemj10 It's getting difficult for us. I find more in common these days with the more moderate Republicans...but their party is also overrun with extremists. The time is quickly approaching for a new centrist coalition.
@adamdangeross@AmanitaFugax I’m a Democrat (old school Bill Clinton D) and I can say with a high degree of confidence that TX is the best run state in the union now, and it isn’t particularly close. Abbott is a technocrat’s dream. Drop the culture war nonsense and this state is unstoppable.
@Bubba3592@DeanTTraining FWIW I'm now DEXA measured 15% BF and still heading down, and have been taking tirzepatide for 11 months. Incredible, amazing, life changing drug.
@Bubba3592@DeanTTraining I'm on tirzepatide and have lost 60 lbs.
It reduces appetite in the beginning, but that dissipates within a few months. What doesn't change is the reduction in "food noise". I used to feel a constant physiological pull to eat. That's now gone. Life changing.
@NateSilver538 4- Capitalism is awesome! Again, talk about the great things it has brought us. We don't need to fight it, we need to embrace it and leverage it further to drive even better outcomes.
@NateSilver538 3- Need to properly assess and embrace what's driving anger in the first place. The things the current iteration of the Democratic Party are angry about are not things that Americans are angry about. Less Palestine, more affordability.
@tracewoodgrains Rubio and Buttigieg would be my top two of these group, and the remaining acceptable candidates are Shapiro, Ossoff, Beshear, Vance, and DeSantis, in that order. The rest are a no. As should be obvious, I care more about competent management than political belief at this moment.
@A_Sue_growsinBK@mattyglesias They will absolutely try to ban private medical, but it will never fly because the wealthy WASPs in favor of M4A will suddenly get lumped in with the proles and they will lose their ever loving minds.
@Nox7hhsjj@number_pizza111 Why should I break it out for you? You offered a blatantly false statement, I corrected you, now you demand a bunch of follow-up. If I had any inkling whatsoever you actually wanted to discuss in good faith maybe I'd bite.
