For those still drafting, there's another cheatsheet update out tonight which you can find on the site. In addition, I posted my dive into position scarcity for fantasy baseball this draft season and what it means for your draft strategy: https://t.co/rUFpsRhSPP
New version of the cheatsheets is out with the data all updated, new Special Blend in place, more Custom Combo projection options, and new projection sources added. There's a list of bug fixes I still need to work on, so stay tuned for another update too! https://t.co/H7Y3r81BKV
To move your data from one version to another, there's a Save/Load tab on the sheet. You copy that data from one sheet and paste it into the other and it should all transfer over. So, once I post the updated sheets, that's how you move your keepers and data over.
@DodgersDeadly I'll quote-reply to this too so others can see but there's a Save/Load tab on the sheet. You copy that data from one sheet and paste it into the other and it should all transfer over.
I will have version 1.10 of the cheatsheets on the site before this evening. This is mostly a data update (and adding new projection options too). I want to get that pushed out first and then spend more time on some of the trickier bug fixes for a second update tomorrow.
After doing lots of analysis and tweaks, I have come up with the new Special Blend projections for the 2026 season! They are on the site now and will be updated within the cheatsheet in the next update (which is coming before the weekend). https://t.co/arHS6JZxzV
It was all of this research and analysis that lead me down the path of deciding to rework my pitching Special Blend as it was clear there was work to do. That's a big reason I dive so deeply into this stuff: I want to have the best aggregated projections possible.
So, I've got a handful of updates that are on the site as of today. First and foremost, I did my projection analysis to see how the various projections did last year versus reality. For those interested in that sort of thing, you can find the post here: https://t.co/O81Pb4vDgA
And, after a crazy idea that I had, I created a page that shows the projection analysis historically. I have the last ten years of projection rankings in a table here that you can filter and play with all you want if you want to get lost in data: https://t.co/HoR7bLLrpy
Dove into some deeper rabbit holes in the pursuit of making the Special Blend better than ever so didn't get it all done today but it's just about done. Shouldn't have promised I'd have it out today, but it definitely will be out soon (hopefully early on Monday).
I haven't posted the "official" Special Blend yet for 2026 because, after doing a big analysis of past projections, I felt there was room for improving the Special Blend's pitching projections. I'm hoping to have that all done tomorrow and posted along with the analysis stuff.
Then, of course, they'll be added into the sheets as well as other bug fixes and updates there... and then sleepers and such will be posted soon after that. So a flurry of posts and updates should be happening in the coming days. Stay tuned!
@EFitzpatri95521 This is an unofficial list. I still gotta dive into a bit more and there's obviously some inherit risk to some of these older guys and their injury history, but this is what the numbers are telling me so far:
This took a bit more effort this year than I expected but, my friends, the day is here... the 2026 fantasy baseball cheatsheets have been released! Have fun messing around with them! I'll continue to tinker and release new updates in the weeks ahead: https://t.co/2UNgeO2Zj6
@EFitzpatri95521 Sure, I'll see what I can cook up by tomorrow for ya. I've dove deep into a rabbit hole with some of the other work I plan to release soon but never hurts to check on those sleeper pitchers so I'll see what I can do!
@Pudding_Poppz Thank you so much for saying that, Thomas. It is a lot of effort each year but it's people like you that make it feel worthwhile and make me proud to do it each year. I love hearing stuff like this.
I'm not really on social media these days so sorry for the radio silence but...
I will indeed be returning with content for the 2026 fantasy baseball season. You can expect content to start to roll out here in early February. Stay tuned for more updates!
