Tinubu’s administration has brought untold hardship, suffering, and hopelessness to millions of Nigerians.
So, from now until January 2027, I have a part-time job: to do everything within my democratic rights to ensure Tinubu is not re-elected.
Nigeria deserves better.

This is an absolute masterclass analysis from Vincent Kompany, This is how leaders must stand for what is right even in the midst of what seems like a hot mess.
Wow. What a leader.
I doff my hat for Vincent.
How can someone commit a T€rrorism offense which carry D€ath Penalty and a Judge will reduce the sentence to Twenty years in Prison, that isn't acceptable.

I left the UK and returned to Nigeria to start my career in March 2013. Most of the Nigerian international students I went to uni with had already returned since 2012.
Nearly all of us who came back started planning to escape from Nigeria in 2016. There was only one thing that changed in Nigeria between 2013 and 2016. We know what or who it was.
But yeah, "GEJ was a terrible president." If you keep repeating it to yourself 9 years later, despite being mocked by all the data in existence, that will somehow make it true 👍🏿
Me, I don't care who has any investment in maintaining this gigantic untruth because none of you feeds me, and I will speak freely - "GEJ must go" was a foreign intelligence operation run out of Washington DC by the US State Department, whose doctrine interpreted Nigeria's economic growth and growing partnership with China as a strategic threat to American economic and military interests on the continent.
The Obama administration repeatedly interfered very directly and blatantly in that election cycle. Barack Obama recorded and posted a video urging Nigerians to "vote for the next chapter." Michelle Obama involved herself in #BringBackOurGirls, which was itself merely the 'Big Idea' within the larger marketing campaign that was "Jonathan must go." John Kerry travelled to Nigeria and met with the opposition.
The local players on the ground who took part in the marketing and political campaign to oust Goodluck Jonathan and replace him with the Illiterate were merely useful idiots - yes, that includes you reading this with your guilty conscience. If the shoe fits, I am definitely referring to you. You were nothing but a pawn in a geopolitical tussle between 2 of the Countries That Actually Matter.
Because you lack wisdom, insight and especially humility, you really thought you were doing something historic by removing an incumbent president - a trick you have not been able to repeat ever since, because the US State Department - which actually runs Nigeria - had no problem with 8 years of The Illiterate, and definitely has no problem with another 8 years of the Drug Dealer whom it actively protects.
You idiots thought that you were empowered, politically awakened people, when you were just chess pieces on a board being pushed around by forces you were too stupid and egotistical to recognise. Now your GDP has effectively HALVED in just 9 years, and a whole generation of high-quality human capital has been lost to the US and its allies.
And they didn't bring back your girls!
Stupid fucks.
“The president doesn’t matter.”
“It would have been the same under Obi.”
They keep shifting the goalpost.
They keep gaslighting Nigerians. They keep making excuses for the incompetent failure.
1. Obi will never buy a yacht.
2. He will never buy those SUVs.
3. He would have used made in Nigeria.
4. He would have forfeited his salaries.
5. He will hardly stay in Aso Rock.
6. He would have visited the 36 states.
7. He would have gone to see the IDPs.
8. Presidential convoy would have reduced.
9. His wife won’t be captured in the budget.
10. There’ll be no need for a body language.
11. He won’t appoint LP members into INEC.
12. Professor Yakubu would have been fired.
13. Peter Obi will rather chew wet jeans, than continue with business as usual.
14. His independent & responsible children would have continued their private lives.
15. There’ll be no office of the First Daughter & the First Son. What do you need those for?
You can lie to yourselves all you want, every Agbado already knows that Peter Obi would have put the savings from subsidy removal into your education, healthcare & the fixing of roads. A Bogus Cabinet? you dey craze?
One of Peter Obi’s finger tip, is better than Asiwaju’s entire body. There is actually no basis for comparison, the difference is clear.
Peter Obi knew the treasury was empty, that was the reason he said there was nothing to share again!
Peter Obi being a successful TRADER, knows, in Nigeria's current state, no foreign investor will be willing to put money in Nigeria, this was the reason he traveled around the world to speak to successful Nigerians to bring money in the form of investment. If Nigerians all over the world decides to bring fund in terms of investment, there will be employment, and the Naira will become stable.
Peter Obi knows we have to produce, which was the reason he traveled to Egypt because no production without electricity.
Peter Obi did many more behind closed doors because he wanted to prove to everyone that Nigeria could work.
Tinubu was busy dancing up and down. He knew the damage Buhari made (loans, debt, misgovernance) but the first thing he did with his stolen mandate was bizarre luxury spending as against cost-cutting.
Whoever believes that Tinubu will succeed and means well for Nigerians is a M0rOn!
Peter Obi was constantly consulting with diaspora Nigeria even when he couldn’t get any vote . Most of us thought he just loves to travel , I guess now you all understand that he was begging them to invest back home.Diaspora was ready to pump in cash to help stabilize the naira but would rather not now cos they don’t trust the capacity, integrity of this other man .
I don’t blame them!!!
The 1 thing I'm grateful for in 2023 is that global media has taken off the "journalism" mask and showed its real face.
From French DGSE officials appearing on live TV openly advocating for Niger to be "destabilisé" to BBC Africa openly lying about a publicly available court document in defence of a Nigerian drug lord to Israeli media blatantly making up nightmare-fuel stories to add narrative spice to whatever atrocities Hamas is already guilty of, to Nigerian media openly showing fealty to a president who is a publicly documented drug trafficker, identity fraudster and document forger.
Nobody is pretending to be "objective" anymore. Everybody is publicly owning their agenda unapologetically and showing their alignments and affiliations in the open. I am completely in favour of this new media paradigm.
Now, when independent media like @WestAfricaWeek deliberately and consistently show that we have chosen the side of the West African commoner, I want to hear not a word about how we are not "objective." Media has always been subjective, from ownership to editorial policy to delivery channels, and journalism has always been a subset of storytelling, which is itself a subset of the Public Relations industry.
Some people have made a killing out of branding themselves as the sovereign gatekeepers of this esoteric entity called "objective journalism," while secretly taking their editorial instructions from Mossad, DGSE, MI5 and CIA and accepting money from everyone who will give them, including Bola Tinubu, Nasir El-Rufai, MKO Abiola and Alex Saab.
2023 is when the pretense died a very public death. Now it is clearer than ever that ALL media has an agenda, and everyone needs to choose the one that fits their own agenda and situational context. Now of a media platform reports something without presenting evidence, you must assume it is lying. If it presents evidence, you have to scrutinise it for authenticity because nobody wants to pretend to be an "objective journalist" anymore.
Everyone has finally owned their bias.
This has been a great year.
They leaked a call allegedly made by @PeterObi to a clergy man, and they wanted to set the country on fire over this. They were quick to call for Obi’s head. We heard from Islamic groups, Social media e-rats, even our white-haired professor. They all demanded explanations. Now we have a True confession of an unpardonable sin and the loud-mouthed human imps on social media & our bigoted intellectuals are being careful and civil with their condemnation. El Rufai just told you what we’ve known for years. He’s not lying. But what can you do when the Christian Association of Nobody (CAN) is already defending him. We already know we’re surrounded, but one way or another, we’re gonna make a break for it - not into oblivion but into the future we seek, one in which our ancestral heritage is snatched from the stifling grips of these hegemonic demons in human skin.
I think I owe Buhari an apology. Based on what I saw in 2015, I assumed that he had somehow succeeded in reducing the general level of intelligence in Nigeria to his level.
Turns out the dumbest people in Nigeria who say and believe the stupidest things are actually in Lagos.
