He said this is the setting that finally fixes the biggest complaint audiophiles have had about Apple TV for years and most people don't know it arrived.
With tvOS 26, Apple TV 4K now supports native audio passthrough sending the original, untouched audio bitstream directly from streaming apps to your soundbar, AV receiver, or surround system. No re-encoding. No downmixing. Pure, lossless Dolby Atmos and DTS audio the way it was mixed in the studio.
Before this update, Apple TV processed all audio internally, which could degrade the signal for high-end systems. Passthrough eliminates that bottleneck entirely.
Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Output > enable the passthrough option for your connected device.
"A client had a $3,000 Atmos receiver connected to his Apple TV. For years, the Apple TV was re-encoding the audio before sending it to the receiver. He was getting a processed version of an Atmos track instead of the real thing. I enabled passthrough. He played the same scene. He heard ceiling channels activate for the first time. Same receiver. Same Apple TV. One setting."
He also sets the Audio Format to "Best Quality Available" and verifies that Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio are enabled under Video and Audio settings.
"Most people connect a soundbar or receiver and assume it's getting the best signal. It's not unless you verify the audio settings. The Apple TV defaults are conservative. You have to tell it to send the full signal."
The reason anyone gets insanely rich is almost always because of the stock market. It certainly how @elonmusk did.
And the reason they get rich from the stock market, is because 150m Americans decided they wanted to own shares of stocks directly, or through their retirement plans, or through other approaches as a way of building their net worth and trying to create a better life for themselves.
One Hundred Fifty Million Americans. About 60% of adults.
Effectively believing that @elonmusk and many billionaires could make them wealthier and help them achieve a better life.
If you want @elonmusk , and most billionaires to no longer be that rich, convince those 150m to sell their stocks, funds, ETFs whatever.
Of course you would wipe out the net-worth of most of those people, and everyone else’s savings, as the markets crashed and brought down the economy and created the worst depression we have ever seen.
Alternatively
There are ways to improve healthcare access and eventually make it available to all.
To start -
If you want @elonmusk and all billionaires to improve healthcare for everyone , ask them to stop doing business with the enormous healthcare conglomerates and to work directly with transparently priced care providers.
It’s the behemoth HC conglomerates that make HC so bad for so many. (Check my timeline for more detail)
Removing them would push the cost of healthcare down for everyone. Their corporate decisions impact our healthcare cost and availability.
Of course if they do that, not only would our HC costs go down , and the quality of care for their employees and the entire country go up
But
They would see their corporate cash flow increase dramatically and we would have more millionaires, billionaires and maybe even another trillionaire when that cash flow moved from the big health care conglomerates to their bottom line, so would the net worth of the 150 million American adults that own public stocks
Capitalism is better than socialism because 150m Americans can influence exactly what happens in this country.
I’ve had a number of conversations with folks inside and outside government about the current situation with Anthropic, and here is what I believe to be true:
— As we know, Anthropic publicly released its Mythos class models earlier this week under the commercial name Fable.
— Fable is Mythos with guardrails. But if those guardrails fail, then you’ve exposed Mythos and its advanced cyber capabilities to people who shouldn’t have them. (Keep in mind that Anthropic itself widely promoted the idea that Mythos was a cyberweapon and needed to be regulated as such. They asked for government regulation of Mythos and championed the guardrails on Fable. If there is a vulnerability — big or small — it is Anthropic’s responsibility to patch.)
— A highly credible trusted partner of both Anthropic and the USG who was testing Fable came forward with a jailbreak of those guardrails. The Admin asked Dario to fix the jailbreak or de-deploy the model. Dario refused.
— In their blog post, Anthropic defended its decision by saying the jailbreak isn’t serious. That is not what the trusted partner and the USG believe; nor is that kind of minimizing language consistent with Anthropic’s brand as the AI safety company. It’s difficult to fathom how they could claim a jailbreak allowing operability of a cyber weapon could be defined as not “serious.”
— In the past, Anthropic has always said that safety must be top priority and taken super seriously. In this case, Anthropic prioritized the continued offering of the consumer model over safety.
— In reaction, the Admin issued the export control. The Admin did this reluctantly. It’s been very surprised that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to cooperate with a reasonable safety request (ie fixing the jailbreak issue). Anthropic’s reaction is very much at odds with their branding and ethos as a safe AI research community.
— The Admin’s hope now is that Anthropic remediates the safety issue, the export control is lifted, and Fable goes back into general release. The Admin wants all of this to happen as soon as possible. It is frankly bewildered that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to comply with safety requests that it previously said were its highest priority.
— Those trying to misdirect and tie this action to the prior DoW/Anthropic issues are wrong. The Admin values Anthropic’s technical capabilities and feels that this issue, while serious, should be easily resolved. The ball is in Anthropic’s court.
@Zizzod1594121@OC_Scanner No. A DMV employee here just addressed the group of for the second time that systems are still down. They are only taking registration requests.

Jensen Huang just told every college student on Earth the one thing that determines whether they get hired.
It is not their GPA.
It is not their degree.
It is not their internship.
Huang: “If I have a choice between two, I would hire the one who’s expert in using AI.”
He did not say prefer. He said hire.
One gets the job. One does not. The only variable is whether you learned to use the machine.
Then he went down the list.
Accountant. Hire the one who uses AI.
Lawyer. Hire the one who uses AI.
Marketing. Supply chain. Sales. Customer service.
Every function. Same answer.
The person who can command the model does not have an edge. They are the only candidate in the room.
Everyone else is applying for a job that no longer exists.
Huang: “If you’re a carpenter, if you’re an electrician, go use AI. If I were a farmer, I would absolutely use AI.”
That line should demolish every assumption about who this technology is for.
This is not a Silicon Valley tool for software engineers.
This is infrastructure for anyone who builds anything with their hands or their head.
A farmer who uses AI to optimize soil, predict weather, and manage yields is not competing with other farmers.
They are operating at a level that used to take an entire department.
An electrician who uses AI to model loads, simulate wiring, and quote jobs in seconds does not compete with other electricians.
They compete with firms.
One person with the model replaces the output of a team without it.
That is not a prediction. That is Tuesday.
Huang: “Every college student should graduate and be an expert in AI.”
Not familiar with it. Not aware of it. Expert.
The university system is still training students to execute the work.
The market already moved. It wants the person who directs the machine that executes it.
Four years of tuition. Thousands of hours of lectures.
And if you walk out the door without mastering the one tool that redefines every industry you could enter, you burned all of it.
Huang: “I want to see what it could do to elevate my job, so that I could be the innovator to revolutionize this industry myself.”
That is the part most people miss.
AI does not replace ambition. It multiplies it.
The carpenter who learns the model does not lose their craft. They scale it.
The pharmacist who learns the model does not become redundant. They become dangerous.
One person. Deep skill. Full command of the machine. That used to be called a company.
The question is no longer what do you know.
It is what can you build with the machine that knows everything.
And the people who cannot answer that are not falling behind.
They already fell.
Failure to file income tax returns is a federal criminal offense.
If this applies to you as well, do not put this off another year. Danger, danger, danger.
If you’re behind, initiate the filing immediately. Reconstruct the year or years as best you can, file something, and start cleaning it up. The IRS is far more likely to work with you when you come to them.
If you're working your way out of a hole like this couple, don’t let this derail the progress you’ve worked so hard to make.
