@BenRiensche Every field in NWOH has some type of systematic drainage installed. Take a look at the pipelines (petroleum) in Ohio. It can be done. With a good attorney you can get your tile fixed and buy another farm with the money left over. We don’t like it but it’s the way business is done
@JrodCreed Any actual evidence of that or just your wag?
I have heard of none and we were in a below average area. Seems to be a lot of speculation from people who want to see their neighbors fail.
@Deere_Salesman Yeah the integrated autosteer is really cool. Too bad you can’t get it.
Typical Deere. Had to order my new gator today with autoTrac Universal 300. Steering wheel control. You should be proud.
North Dakota #corn was shown 15% harvested, +5 on the wk (avg 76%).
The other slowest years in ND on Nov. 10 (since 2000):
2009 5% (was 68% done on Dec. 20, 2009 - last entry)
2008 24%
2004 38%
South Dakota was 39% (avg 82%). Only 2 slower years: 2009 21%, 1992 33%.

7. One possible explanation for the increase in cover crop designation is that farmers changed their FSA reporting to add the cover crops designation for PP acres in order to get the $15/acre MFP2 allowed for approved cover crops. Maybe.
@MRDrewes Agreed. I sold 40% of our normal corn yields at POET and had to buy back our contracts with a penalty because I only got 2% of our corn planted and knew I would not be able to fill the contract. Rolling to 20’ didn’t work. That was a painful check to write. #NoPlant19OHIO
